Love! Love! Love! Bad KittyMy 8 yr old son reads these books to me and has to stop for air after laughing so hard! It doesn’t hurt that our cats look exactly like her 😁These books really help push him to try a higher reading level. Don’t let the graphic novel layout fool you - the vocabulary is great and they’re a super way to engage emerging readers.

Our family loves these books. My son had originally borrowed one of the Bad Kitty books from the library and he was interested and laughed throughout. Nothing better then hearing that laugh😊 So for Christmas I had purchased this set and we read it nightly together. He’s 5.5 so it’s too difficult for him to read on his own but it’s entertaining and age appropriate to read together. I personally think Uncle Murray is hysterical, just saying😂 Highly recommend for fun family reading!!

i bought this as a bday present for an 8yr old girl. she sat and looked at them for awhile. now, i'm not so positive that she actually read them, but the pictures were quite captivating. and the writing was funny. because naturally, i read them. oh, and the free poster possibly out-impressed the bday girl more than the books themselves. but this is her second set of bad kitty books, and she's still asking for more. i think the reading level is slightly underestimated though, particularly given the numerous instances of "action" words or whatever, like POW! (but longer and harder to sound out than that). i even had to say some of them out loud. i love cats. i think she skimmed the book, but maybe that's how all 8 year olds read. buy this set! these books are by far much better than a lot of stuff out there. and particularly better than ABC family, which btws is not altogether wholesome and fit for families.

I’ve been trying to get my 8 year old into chapter books without success. But Bad Kitty is the winning ticket. She loves it!

My kiddo hates to read and I bought this series hoping that he would love it. It sat in it's cute box for months, and then he finally cracked the first book open. And plowed through the rest of the series laughing away. It's a win! The books are not literary novels by any means, there are plenty of pictures in the series that make it giggle worthy. It's a lot like a graphic novel mixed with a kid book.

I had never heard of Bad Kitty before stumbling across her while searching for cat-themed easy reader books. These are written in an easy-to-read fashion that provides a nice transition from little kid books to more complex chapter books. I also like the way they interject facts about cats into the story to offset the times they've presented non-factual information.These are not your average white-washed PC kids' book. I wouldn't say it's offensive but there is definitely borderline potty humor. Sometimes I've laughed so hard reading this to my kids, I've cried. This series is great and we will definitely be buying more!

Photo of book set on the website indicates there is a poster inside. There was no photo inside the set received which resulted in a very disappointed 7 yr old.

My Grandson enjoyed these books even though he really doesn't like to read. The ten year old really enjoyed them!

Bought for a present. My niece loves them

Great packaging with no damage to books. We bought a Bad Kitty picture book for our toddler last week in store and didn't realize the books from Amazon were more of a comic-y book (think: Captain Underpants books). The pictures are in black and white. Font is large and easy to read. For more of an older child reader, not an interactive toddler picture book like we hoped. That said, we will be keeping these for our son to enjoy when he is older :)

The book is good.My daughter was hoping for it to be funnier. But she still likes them. Lots.of facts about kitties

These three books are OK for reading on a quiet afternoon, but my six year old son looses his interest after 15 minutes and he does not like the graphics...

I would highly recommend this series for any grade 2 as they enjoy them so much--as a grandparent I recommend these--Parents could benefit them also
