Wanted to play the PS4 in separate areas of the house utilizing an hdmi splitter and an existing hdmi extension cable connection within the drywalls. Only problem was that the bluetooth connection was not strong enough. Instead of purchasing another console, figured boosting the 2.4 GHz signal would be cheaper. Decided to extend my bluetooth coverage for remote controllers on the PS4. Opened up the PS4 interiors, attached a ufl port to rp sma cable to the PS4 bluetooth chip and ran the cord outside of the PS4 into the signal booster device. Power and antenna were attached properly.This device will not receive any signal from wireless devices unless their is a transmitting signal already coming into the device. e.g. my PS4 is off and remote turning on the PS4 with the controller does not work. Manually turning on the PS4 is required before the signal booster can work before connecting to the controller. Remote controller works well with almost 0 visual latency. However, when inputting an external audio jack into the PS4 controller there is no audio working and no voice input is allowed. I don't know why this happens as i'm not too familiar with RF devices. Since the PS4 controller is also a trasnmitter and reciever it maybe something to do with the different channels with 2.4 GHz. The controllor could be using a different channel for button input and another channel for audio input while the signal booster is only accepting one channel.

I bought this on a different online venue. I have tried several different units for my long range RC drones. This one is by far the most powerful one without spending a couple hundred dollars. In fact it performs better than one I paid 300 bucks for. 4 Watts equals 4,000mw. They don’t tell you that info. Most of them are rated 2,500mw or 3,000mw, and don’t get me wrong those are good ratings but for the same price you get 25 percent more power from this unit. Do yourself a favor and get a quality antenna to go with it.. The drone I put this on jumped from 1 mile range up to over 4 miles. I could have gone further, but my battery would not allow.. Whenever I do need another one of these, this will be my first choice every time
