Borage oil has a distinctive not very pleasant odor. You'll find that in any brand, not just this one. I bought this to use on my scalp which gets very dry and itchy in the winter time. I couldn't stand the smell though. It smells like wet dog? / blood? / wet ironworks?. Something in that scent family... I tried mixing it with other scalp treatments that were heavy on the mint but I could still smell the borage oil and shelved it. I recently had an outbreak of eczema on my arms though and instead of reaching for my hydrocortisone I tried this and the eczema disappeared within two days. And when used in small amounts away from my head/face the odor was undetectable. Win/win!!

Borage oil is stinky. It's not the company that bottles it. Borage is always stinky. If it wasn't, I would be worried that the company was over filtering it or diluting it down. If you can't handle the smell, get yourself a Vit C citrus moisturizer and pat that on over the oil - takes the smell away but still lets the Borage do it's job. Moisturizes, light, great. I only use about 5 drops for my whole face (nighttime routine). Wake up with better looking skin every time!

I dislike the smell that's lingers but I mix it with another oil. A little goes a long way, its thick. I heard about borage oil how rich it is in omega 3,6,9 fatty oil to plump skin its now my new facial skin care must have along with 2 top notch. Will update results

I have been using borage oil for few years , taken internally gives a shine for my hair. Any burn will be healed soo quickly when you run in borage oil. This is my first order from this company . I feel like it’s great quality and I appreciate glass bottle.

As I've gotten older, I've found a number of rough patches as well as some very itchy areas. I had a biopsy preformed on one of the patches and the test came back benign. Within weeks of using borage oil on the rough patches, they began to shrink, and the itchy areas also began to improve. I continue to use it regularly and have added it to my subscriptions.

I have tried many different organic cold pressed Borage Seed Oils but this is by far the worst smelling. I’m not sure how they managed to make it smell is smell like feet and vomit but I tried this brand for the first time and put this on before work the first day I got since it’s normally apart of my face routine and I spent the whole day feeling nauseas from the smell. Most others smell like some mixture of plants that can take some getting used to but this one is just horrible.

The packaging was nice and I like the glass bottle and dropper but I can't get past the smell. My daughter asked at least 2 days what that strange eggie smell was. I'm going to try mixing this with other essential oils but my fear is I won't be able to tell if this oil is doing what it's supposed to do if it's mixed with something else. I haven't decided if it's a good product and worth the money because it stinks.

Re Orange pigment/staining your skin orange, just use a drop, it makes it appear like a natural bronzer IMHO. I am olive skinned though and I LOVE that it's super pigmented!!!! Def supple and soft post use. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Don't be stupid though, gather some sound judgment first!!!
