Check you are buying the right charger!
As you will gather from the heading I bought the wrong charger and had to send it back (Postage to come off returns) This charger is Lithium, the one I was trying to replace was for an older Ni-Cad battery. Lesson learnt, I went to buy a new B&D drill which has a charger and 2 batteries. Problem solved, but let others who are also inexperienced in the progressm of battery development learn from this! One has to give a star rating and 3 seemed the only possible one.

Great quality from this aftermarket charger unit
After 2 OEM chargers from Black and Decker burning out in little over 12 months I was reluctant to buy an after market charger which I assumed would be even worse. Only had this unit a few months but I have to say I was wrong and the quality is far better than original and clear charge indicator better too. A great investment it’s robust and much better than the flimsy effort originally supplied.

As good, or better than the original, at a fraction of the price
A fraction of the price of the real thing, but just as good. Mind you, I was never any good at fractions at school, I used to spend all my time staring at the girls, daydreaming, or working out new songs for my band!

I bought this to replace my stanley fatmax charger which died all of a sudden, it works perfect, and savede a fortune.
