These pencils are easy for small hands to hold. The bright colors make them fun to use. They seem to be well made and have two erasers and extra lead which is a bonus. I recommend these for children who have trouble holding pencils. The triangular shape helps train their fingers to hold pencils correctly. Worth the money.

I absolutely love the Paper Mechanical Pencil Set! As a parent, I’m always on the lookout for quality writing tools that help improve handwriting, and this pencil set does just that. This is my go to for students with poor handwriting and need additional help. Great for k through 2nd grade students who struggle with the sharpness of their pencil and handwriting. Be mindful this pencil takes different sized lead than most mechanical pencils. The pencil is easy to use and makes my students happy. It has also helped make their handwriting neater.

I dislike pencils for a variety of reasons, the noise and the sensation as they scrape across the paper, needing to sharpen them constantly or the lead will be too think or dull and mechanical pencils are even worse- too thin, lead prone to breaking etc etc. For my job, there are certain things where I have to use a pencil and it's frustrating.These are a game changer. I know they're supposed to be for kids and I have no idea how I initially ended up with one in my possession but wow! I immediately had to buy myself a whole pack. The lead is thicker but not too thick. It glides across the paper without scraping or squeaking. The size feels good in my hand. The lead clicks out evenly, doesn't slip out or slide back into the casing. My coworkers initially laughed at my excitement but I now have half the office using them.My only con is that changing out the eraser when it gets too low is tough to do without clicking too much lead out of the pencil

Love these pencils. They are comfortable to hold. I like them because they are substantial. The lead is thicker and does not break and lasts a long time.

My older grandchildren used these exclusively until about 3rd grade. Easy to hold, sturdy lead, never need to be sharpened. Wish the erasers worked better! Bought this package for 4 year old granddaughter whose just learning to write and they’ve been a hit.

I like to write notes in pencil. I hate sharpening pencils all the time, so I thought I would try these. OMG, I love them. They are triangle-shaped and fit my hands nicely. The lead lasts a long time, and they come with refills. I keep one everywhere I can think of and use it daily. Being colorful, I can find them as well. I recommend these for taking notes, creating a grocery list, or, of course, a puzzle!

I purchased this product for myself. I wanted a mechanical pencil that doesn't add extra pain to my hands and wrists. This product is wonderful. It gives you a decent dark (HB, NOT 2B) shade. And due to its thickness (lead) you hardly make a dent on how fast you use the lead up. I honestly think the triangle 🔺️ shape for the mechanical pencil should be standard on all commercially available mechanical pencils. And once you use up the leads, there are 1.3mm leads available here on Amazon at a decent price. Nothing to complain here. If papermate doesn't release these types (1.3mm) of mechanical pencils, there are other available ones here on Amazon. Just understand they won't be on a triangle shape. It's your standard round/pencil shape.
