The Sensory UniversityCHEW STIXX PENCIL TOPPERS

Great for my daughter who needs to chew due to anxiety problems. Her sleeves are now safe and she is happy to use these. She loves the 2 different textures but prefers the bumpy one.

An excellent product that I purchased for a colleague who constantly bites the ends of pens/pencils. This topper has prevented her causing any further harm to her gums. The quality of the product is superb in respects of adult age. The product was posted and arrived within 2 days of purchase and packed very well in secure bags with instructions.

Title pretty much says it all, it's a nice human chew toy. But the shipping cost is very expensive and most orders with free shipping arrive within 3 days, you pay extra and it takes nearly 3 weeks! But I guess it's coming from the States...

Lasted a week until they broke unfortunately... need extra strength ones

We were recommended these by my son's occupational therapist as his school had complained he had chewed/eaten all the class pencils. However, when he chewed the pencils with these on top, the pencil underneath got squashed and he ended up with a mouthful of pencil anyway, which is what we were trying to avoid. An expensive mistake, not recommended.

I bought this for my year six child who needs sensory input. These look like end of pencil rubbers and will work like one. My son can put them on the end of his pencil and not look babyish or out of place at school, while forfilling his need for sensory input. This has saved his school tops and pencils and I would highly recommend these to anyone who has an older child who has sensory issues. They are discreet, only his teacher and he knows what they are really for and they work a treat.

Very expensive and didn't appear to have any benefit. Also children teased my son and even a teacher told him off for having it in his mouth saying it was disgusting despite being told the reason my son had it in the first place. Shame about the stigma but that aside it is still expensive for what it is. Why do we not have UK manufacturers; surely we have plenty of need for such similar things in the UK then less expense means more access for those who need these things as well as less disappointment if the product doesn't benefit the child as intended.

This is wonderful idea helped my son enormously and hygienic and wash them in water. Also stopped him chewing his clothing. Any parent with a child on autistic spectrum will understand :)

super experience

I got these for my 4 year old kindergartner would stop biting the erasers off of his pencils in school. The school sent them back as not being safe as he was taking them off and chewing on them. They were afraid he'd swallow them. I guess they're meant for older children but they're good.

Comes off easily

Although these are sturdy, good for chewing… They are too tight. They have broken the eraser off of every pencil we have tried to jam them on top of.
