Portable, Functional, Nicely done, Save Money vs Lenovos website
UPDATE:Just a fair warning to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL with the battery cover. The clip that snaps the cover into position broke and now my battery cover can just slide right off with no resistance. I'm looking for solutions to fix it that don't involve wrapping it in electrical tape. Not sure if I want to take off stars because its still a great mouse in all other areas. Maybe I'm just whipped.Great product. When I got it I thought you bend it to change the mode like my friends Microsoft mouse but you actually twist the base. I hope I didn't damage or weaken the joint trying to bend it :( But the mouse works great! I love how its both Bluetooth and wireless.PortabilityThe USB receiver stows away nicely in the battery compartment so I can use it if I need to on my friends computer. Twisting the mouse makes it great to stow away in your backpack without a bulky, tall mouse sticking out. I can even comfortably fit it in my pocket if I ever need to. This is the main reason I bought this mouse over other Bluetooth mouses.Presenter:The laser pointer is kind of useless because it blinks really fast and is hard to keep track of with your eyes but I didn't buy the mouse as a presenter tool.Ergonomics:As far as ergonomics go its not the best. I had to get used to holding this mouse differently in my hand. If I could change anything I would wish it was a bit bigger since I have rather large hands and long fingers. I have to bend my fingers a lot to have them rest on the mouse buttons. The space in the middle of the mouse is kind of leaving something to be desired since my ring finger tries to find something to rest on but it just moves under the mouse, feeling kind of strange.Functions:I LOVE the middle mouse button. Its touch sensitive to swipes and recognizes left and right swipes. Swiping from the right reveals the Windows 8 sidebar with the start button and swiping from the left switches to the last app you had open. Clicking the bottom of the button is the same as pressing the start key on your keyboard, also very useful. As far as surfaces go, I've used it on tile, granite, wood desks, and my leg (sitting on the toilet).I've read it doesn't do so well on blue surfaces but I've tried on blue construction paper and had no problems. Even if this was true, I cant think of a naturally blue surface that you would be using a mouse on.One other thing I wish this mouse did was have vibration feedback like the Microsoft mouse does. When you scroll it would "click" as fast as you scroll. You could also build momentum and the vibration would keep going then slow down. It was a very nice feel to the MS mouse and I was really hoping this mouse had that but I can deal with it no problem.I bought it the same time I purchased my Lenovo Y50 Touch but if I got it from Lenovo as an accessory it was a $70 mouse so this is a great deal. I still haven't received my Y50 but after testing on my current laptop it works great. I love having matching brands so I'm glad Lenovo had a product to go along with my laptop that meet my needs and expectations.

Low quality/WAS Good price (36$?)/Good Looks/convertible/windows function.
2018 update: holy sh** the price went up. After around 1.5 years of owning it,the bottom cover/housing fell off and doesnt attach back on.. you'll need glue/ Also the BATTERY COVER has lost its ability to stay on because it is MADE OF PLASTIC...the quality of the surface has been reduce due to wear and tear .. you really need some kind of sack tro protect it from scratches and scuffs...The battery life is ok. I suggest you use 1.5volt batteries and not the 1.2v rechargeables. unless they are 1.5volt lithium ion rechargeables (Expensive)...The laser still sucks.. I dont really want this mouse anymore because I prefer a dedicated laser ... i can barely see the laser pointer in many cases on projector screens at the university...they NEED TO UPGRADE THE LASER AND MAKE THIS OBSOLETE. They need to make the crome area out of REAL CHROME and make sure that the left/right-on-the-windows-button swiping function works because it doesn't for me ever since windows 10 happened.I prefer to buy this AMAZING 30$ gaming mouse that have 12 or 13 programmable buttons and different modes AND its batttery lasts for MONTHS... It's only 4 times thicker from bottom to top (in height).. but it gets the job done way better. WAYYY BETTER. So I feel like a fool for buying this...This mouse is best used for showing off.. except that laser WILL make YOU look DUMB for using a laser people can barely see.... you'll have to move the laser slowly so people can track it at the VERY LEAST. yeah no .. dedicate laser it is. come i can handle a few more ounces of weight .. what are you ? the anti-muscle squad? are you one of those people who think their backs will break from a few ounces? trying to over pack a carry on on personal item ( backpack) or you prefer bringing an overpriced purse instead of a backpack because you're too cutesey wootsey. YES there are people who are spoiled . really spoiled. lets not let them influence the market please . I mean i dont want low quality Scrap anymore.I want them to look both ideal and BE ideal.Cons:- The DPI of this mouse is either lower than 1000 or it has a bad tracking sensor ( hardware/software-wise)-low DPI means that the mouse pointer wont be as accurate at pointing where you want it to.-the tracking laser is blue, thus it will have a hard time working on blue surfaces ( not really much of a con, you cant blame them)-if you have blue jeans, it is a con :P-the material is obviously made to save the manufacturer money. ( Example: the Middle chrome area is made of fake chrome that you could easily scratch off)- there is a small amount of time you have to wait for mouse or laser/off mode to work (2 to 3 second?)-if you dont wait, the mouse may get confused and it wont work until it you see the led light turn off AFTER making a change of mode ( after you confused it)- it's a bit harder to recognize where the middle button/windows button is- the mouse isn't exactly comfortable. I estimated i need more height from the back of the mouse. (SOMETHING FOR THEM TO CONSIDER. reminds me of the RAT9 gaming mouse ..)-Laser is a bit smaller in diameter than a regular 3$ laser pen, I use strong batteries to compensate for thisyou should use this laser only in unlit presentations i suppose. I haven't used it in presentations yet but the future looks bleak on this one-Im not really a fan of logos, so that con is coming from mePros:- Looks really beautiful-Great design (black)-Flatness for storage ( you should get a mini bag or whatever will protect it from rubbing and scratches)-convertibility-you can store your 2.4ghz dongle in the batttery compartment- I dont know if the batteries last long, but it's supposed to ( the laser is invisible when it is working)I'd recommend it for looks and price but not for quality, or even so much for editing pictures.I have a cheap USB mouse with over 2000dpi I got for 1$ at the flea market, brand new. :Psucks to be you doesnt it?:P
