... and my teacher happens to be the author, so that's lucky then! You need the CD as well as the book, and preferably you need to use the book for exercises and practice under direction from a professional; perhaps for those further on in Jazz terminology and theory it could be used stand alone, but I would struggle without guidance. It is well produced, and not expensive so a good item for the overall tool kit.

This book does not contain the cd as well. I didn't realise this until it arrived. The cd is listed separately but also as a paperback so I don't know if that has the book with it or not. These items are very badly listed as no information is given about them. I don't want others falling into the same mistake I did.
