Dinosaurs (Insiders) Hardcover – Illustrated, July 24, 2007

My daughter is obsessed with dinosaurs. When she was a pre-reader, this book's rich illustrations and well-organized charts provided weeks' worth of valuable information that was clear and helped me, as a parent, contextualize the world of dinosaurs for her. Now she's in third grade and has gone back to this book and loves it. It doesn't talk down to her but doesn't use a lot of words she doesn't understand without explaining them. The information is laid out in clear, easy-to-compartmentalism ways with time charts and diagrams.We are now going to invest in more of the Insiders series on topics that interest my children, as they seem to come away from the, better-educated. With the Eyewitness books they always come away overwhelmed by the walls of opaque text and badly laid-out information.

My 3y kid is pleased with this book. I think it is because the pictures is beautiful and this included a lot of famous dinosaurs which kids love. I hope, when he grow up, he can understand more about dinosaurs from this book.

I ordered this book for my nephew for his birthday. He asked for a dinosaur dictionary. When the book arrived I reviewed it. While it is well done, it's not as extensive as I was hoping it would be. I still plan to give it to him but am going to look for something more extensive as well.

We purchased a shark book and were thrilled to find that this is a series of books. Lots of easy to read information and great pictures!

My eight year old son enjoyed reading all the series including this one. It is part of his library collection, always excited to read (with some assistance) and share with his siblings.

Also very good for the parents to read as well. The author has international credibility as a paleontologist so you can feel safe that you are not reading questionable speculation, but current knowledge and understaning in the field.

This is a good book with good information, I would recommend this to a student for the purpose of a book report. Delivered in good time and good pictures! It will keep the reader interested!!

although waited for quite long time( due to the COVID) but my kid loves it. Very nice book, I have bought three of different titles. My kid love them all. Probably I will buy all series.
