Great value
Pre-sets radio stations (FM only), and plays CDs, recharges my phone, large time readout and decent sound. Love that it keeps its own correct time and self-adjusts for Daylight Savings Time and back again. Also small enough not to take up my entire night stand but big enough controls with labels to make using it very easy.

ALARM CLOCK WITH CD PLAYBACK
Wow, super super rare - an alarm clock that lets you use your CD as the alarm sound! For that feature alone it gets five stars because nobody else is selling that feature anymore, everyone seems to have their iPhone set as their alarm or something. Well, I hate the alarm on my phone. I am a heavy sleeper and not a morning person; I need my "BEHEMOTH" death metal CD blaring in my ear to wake up at 4:00am to go to work.Okay other information for you: the numbers on the display are quite large, easy to read from across the room. The brightness is enough to see it clearly in daylight but not so much that it wakes you up at night. It has a snooze feature which works regardless of what source your alarm sound is using. It also has a sleep feature to listen to music while you fall asleep but this will NOT function with your CD only with the AM/FM radio. The sleep and snooze are the same button; if the alarm is going off it will snooze otherwise it will start playing in sleep mode. It has two alarms that you can set separately. It also lets you set the date and the time zone. It can be programmed in repeat mode, I believe it will do either one song or the entire CD but I have not used this feature myself yet. It has TWO USB ports - for CHARGING ONLY - one for USB 1.0 mode and one for USB 2.1 mode. It also has a port in the back for Aux-In using a mini audio jack. Here you can plug in an MP3 player or your iPhone or iPod or whatever and have it play as your alarm (or just listen to it like you would a radio). For setting the alarm, it has a standard buzzer mode. Then it also has music mode. If nothing else is plugged in, music mode will use the built-in AM/FM radio with whatever station you previously set it on. If you put a CD in, that will trump any other input and will be first choice for the machine to play. If there is no CD in the tray, you can use the AuxIn port on the back to use some other MP3 source instead of the AM/FM radio. One down side here is that the controls are hard to figure out. SAVE YOUR USER MANUAL - you WILL need to refer back to it later, next time you want to change your alarm settings. On the plus side, it's lasted six months and hasn't caught fire yet.

Don’t buy
I have never written a bad review before but we have only had this product about a month and it only works when it wants - it must be set to a timer because it comes on in the middle of the night by itself. But nobody can get it to play during the day???? Extremely frustrating. There’s no instructions with it, and it was bought for an elderly person to use - not a good product especially for the price.

Seems like a nice clock, radio, cd player
Bought this as a Christmas present for my grandson and I think he'll really like it. I went ahead and set the year, date and time. I preset the radio station he listens to. The instructions were well written, easy to follow. I don't know how well the cd player works because I didn't bother using it. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.

At last! A CD/alarm clock/Radio - (UPS may be required)
First the PROS:-good sound-nice size for bedside-maintains accurate time (so far). (My previous device gained 2 minutes every 8 days).-PLL tuner-good SIZE digital display-good size SNOOZE, Volume, & Track-select buttons-dual alarm; wake to either buzzer, radio, or CD-USB ports (2)-dual speakers-battery back-upThe CONS:-overly-complex controls. Once programmed, then performance is very good-the display is too bright - even on lowest setting (dimming range is very poor; only 2 choices and very annoying!)-preferred display color should be (from BEST to WORST): RED, AMBER, Orange, Green, yellow, blue, white. (The latter 3 colors should ALWAYS be avoided! - in both the numerical and the background displays).-no DEDICATED “on/off button” for the Radio & CD (at least I haven’t discovered it yet)-utilizes 2032 button battery which is difficult to replace; AA or AAA would be better.-no bass/treble adjustment (a minor fault)-annoying “loose wire” antenna; a rigid/telescoping antenna is preferred-no discernible setting/switch for DSL-would be helpful if the display showed not only the CURRENT TIME but also include the ALARM SET TIME (if activated).A RECOMMENDATION!I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE a CD/Radio/Alarm Clock which incorporates an ATOMIC CLOCK with DSL (Daylight Savings Time) on/off switch (for regions exempting DSL).Due to MARKET SCARCITY of a CD/Radio/Alarm clock product, I will be keeping the product though I have to “blind out” the display during sleeping hours (too bright & less-than-ideal color).UPDATE: I have “retired” the product from my bedside. It’s now located in my bathroom where I primarily use the CD or radio during the morning routine. The time is wrong again due to a power “flicker.” Hence I left it “as-is” resetting the radio station each time as that “memory” was also lost.-Finally discovered the “ON/OFF” switch; it’s a Press & HOLD (for 3 sec). (Otherwise I was cycling through the snooze timer).-The display is TOO BRIGHT and WRONG COLOR (green) during sleep hours, even on the lowest setting I could use it bedside if the color was RED or a dark AMBER, or the brightness could be adjusted lower.-It happened; power outages. The product failed to preserve the settings after the outages (I guesstimated about a 1-3 hour outage each time). Checked the spot battery (2032), and it was dead. I just replaced it from the previous outage a week earlier, and the same thing happened; dead battery. Due to the difficulty of replacing the battery, it just contributed to the cause of its retirement. Again, AA or AAA battery back-up would’ve been far better. As stated earlier, reprogramming the product is unduly complicated and tedious.FINAL SUMMARY:-CD quality is VERY GOOD-RADIO TUNER is EXCELLENT-TIME ACCURACY appears to be VERY GOOD-THE BATTERY BACKUP (pardon my French) DOWNRIGHT “SUCKS” losing ALL settings, rendering the ALARM CLOCK function as UNTRUSTWORTHY.RESULT: Lost one more star; now THREE STARS

Sounds like a tin can. Clock is way too bright.
I was looking for a clock radio with a CD player. That's a really hard combination to find these days, so my options were limited. The numbers are nice and big and easy to see because it doesn't dim quite enough – it kind of works like a night light. (It really is way too bright for sleeping.) I was really hoping for semi-decent sound. All of my newer bluetooth speakers sound pretty great and are small. But this unit sounds like the music is coming through a tin can. The unit is okay enough to keep, but bad enough that it'll probably end up in a guest room.

Excellent bedside clock. Plays CD, radio, or buzzer for wake up. Helps to read the directions first!
