(2006-2015) Yamaha FJR 1300 FJR1300 1 Inch Bar Handlebar Risers

Not happy. Instructions described 4 washers on the 12MM bolts and 2 on the 8MM bolts. Kit arrived with 2 washers for the 12MM bolts, no 8MM washers. I never would have bought this if I knew the beauty covers would not reinstall properly. They say to glue them on. That's unprofessional and hokey, then you have the screw holes throught the covers exposedand ugly.

On my 08 you have to cut off one of the bolts with a hacksaw. Cannot pull out the factory bolts without cutting one of them. Get a mirror and look under the handlebars where they are mounted to the triple tree and you will see what I am talking about. Not willing to hack up my factory parts to do this project. You would also lose the bracket that holds the brake cables and electrical cables.The factory bolts are welded to a bracket that holds the brake and electrical cables in place. May work on other models but not my 08 fjr.

Good for a riser however what I needed was to move my handle bars back about 3 inches.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH RISERS - THEY CAME PACKAGED VERY WELL - PIECES LOOKED PRETTY GOOD - INSTALLATION WAS EASY AND TOOK ABOUT 35-40 MIN. - I HAVE BARS PULLED ALL THE WAY BACK AND THEY FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE - MUCH BETTER RIDING POSITION - I AM HAPPY I ORDERED THEM THANKS

Fit and function was great but they need to go the extra effort to drill and tap the top of the bolts so the beauty covers fit back on easily.

They fit just they were suppose to. Nice finish to them.
