These shoes have exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable and definitely waterproof. I take 6-6.5 so ordered a seven as i have wide feet, and they fit perfectly with a good walking sock. Lightweight, well finished and good grip. The laces are the round ones, but do not slip undone like others i have. They even came with a spare pair!These are ideal for casual / dog walking; the sole is probably not hard enough for any tough fell walking - go buy a pair of Scarpa or Brashers for that, but for lightweight holiday or dog walks they are ideal. These are a shoe, not a boot, so not much ankle support. For the money they are so much better than other similar priced brands i have used, only sorry did not buy a pair years ago.

This is my second pair I have purchased, as the first ones were sooooo comfortable! Like walking on cushions! I wear them every day for walking the dog, up to two hours at a time, and they are rugged enough to cope with most terrains, and I have never had a problem with them leaking, although if it is very wet, I do wear wellies. Fine for walking through damp grass. You do get two pairs of laces, which is very handy, as with daily wear, they only last about 3 months - an issue I have had with all walking shoes I've owned.

Was dubious as I have had merrells for years but they are getting too expensive. A very good and comfortable alternative that is better than some well known brands.

I have tendinitis and the possibility of Morton’s neuroma. I am on my feet always with work and exercise which is my work. A year ago I began developing this trouble. I never saw a professional about it as I never had Feet problems before so I never suspected my footwear was complicating my foot health. I am waiting to see a podiatrist but was told about your product and the considerations you built into this boot for feet problems speaks volumes for your expertise in these matters. Thank you again

I bought these boots 3 months ago. After waiting to see how they would wear and test the waterproofing in wet weather. I must say I’m not disappointed. They were very comfortable from first wearing. I have worn them many times, walking my dog over rough ground etc. And no leaking whatsoever. A really good buy. Still in the same shape. Best walking boots I’ve ever worn.

I like the shoes. Nice colour scheme. Chunky without being too big. I followed the guidance which means they are a size larger. Could probably have done with a half size larger but they are fine. Walked up to Tour Madeloc in the Alberes in Pyrenees Oriental and they were very comfortable.

These arrived today. When I took them out of the box the soles did not seem very flegible and they were heavier than I expected. I put them on straightaway with a thin pair of socks and went for a short moorland walk.They were very comfortable the soles were flexible on wearing and they weren't too heavy for me. The grass was wet but this didn't penetrate through the uppers and there was good grip from the tread.Obviously I don't know how long they will last with daily wear but they seem very good value for the price.
