I like everything about this board with the exception of the board clasp. It works fine enough, however if they made the clasp to hold the case together with something like a strong magnet or a buckle would be better. It has two mostly hidden plastic pressure clips that click when you open it which makes you think you may have broken it. Over time it may wear enough to not be a problem.The playability of this set, chess, checkers, and backgammon, is really perfect. All pieces are sized correctly, have magnets, and work very well to travel (which surprised me the case itself did not have magnets, just a metal board.)

I ordered this and one other set for my 5th grade classroom. My kids LOVE it! They have been playing chess for a while, and are now discovering backgammon. We have been using it for several weeks now, and all of the pieces stay in place and the kids are able top pick their game up, shelve it, and come back to it the next day without losing their progress.

I bought this game to play at a family reunion. Although it would have been nicer if it were a bit larger, I cannot complain even one tiny bit. The measurements are in the product details and shame on me if I didn't read them. The board and pieces are sturdy and of good quality. The magnetic pieces are a big plus. We had a fun time playing and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely buy this again.

I ordered this game board to take on my family’s trip to Europe and I am so glad we did. It’s a perfect size - it did not take up too much space in our luggage and it was easy to bring back and forth to the beach or out for coffee. We used it to play chess, backgammon and checkers. The pieces all store nicely in the board. Bonus - my kids stayed off their phones!

Our grandson is a chess player. It is handy and quick to set up when he comes to visit.Now he wants to learn Backgammon.

Had to buy a chess set after watching the Queens Gambit and I don't regret it all. I also grew up playing Backgammon with my mom so this was a 2 in1 special! I'm no good at chess but it is fun and I love strategy games. The magnetic board makes it easy to manage and it folds up so you can take it anywhere. So worth it!

This was great to take on a recent flight. Pieces stuck well and helped to pass the time.

Very very small nothing like it appears it was a disappointment! A little lager than a deck of cards

I was weary of the magnetic pieces making playing feel unnatural, or for the board to seem cheap, however it looks great leaving it out on the coffee table and plays fine.
