Sage 50 Premium Accounting 2019 – Advanced Accounting Software – Safe & Secure – Inventory Tracker – Manage Jobs & Expenses

I have been using this particular software for 20 years. I have a puny business. I would upgrade every 2-3 years via a purchase of the retail edition like the one being sold here. In 1/18 I have a hard drive replaced. Went to re install my 2017 and it wouldn't work. Contacted Sage who refused to support this 2017 copy even for a fee. They told me I had to upgrade to 2018 and they no longer offered a retail version, only a year to year liscense. Well, they made be a decent offer and I was up against the wall with my acctg softwar being out of order for over a week.As the year was coming to an end, they sent me a notice that they could not charge the credit card on file the $900 they wanted. $900! I went to find alternatives. I was going to switch. with great anguish, to an alternative software but then I saw this. REtail copy of Sage 2019. I was overjoyed. Loaded the program but bam, when the license grace period ended. I was frozen out. Contacted Sage and advised them of what was going on. I could not get unhooked from the license. I deleted Sage and re installed the disk multiple times. Each time to would hook back up to the license copy. I spent hours online with Sage help. They guy modemed into my computer and did all kinds of thigs including messing with my registry, always a dicey notion. Finally, I actually had to pay Sage for one month, so far, of the license. So I paid about $100 for the license even tho I owned this retail copy.Tech support made more changes and hey promised to credit the fee they charged me and won't charge me more. SO far, I haven't seen the credit. Come March 1 I am betting they will be billing me for anoher month. Don't know whether the nightmare will end. I am a huge fan of the product but I was scammed in Jan 2018 into buyinbg this license and although I bought my own copy, the license is so deeply embedded in my computer that they can't seem to excise it from my computer. Be wary if you are switching from a license.

I purchased my Sage Premium Accounting US 50 in July 2019. I am all by myself so I am a single user on a single computer. Two weeks ago, there was a power surge and when I powered my computer back up I could not get the software to open. It starts like it is opening and then disappears from my screen. I tried reinstalling it and I am having the same problem. I have tried numerous times to contact Sage and the only call I received was from Canada. I need a US Technical Support person to contact me. NO LUCK! Maybe this review will get someone's attention to contact me.

Easy to use for managing HOA dues, bank account, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Reports are easy to customize. Balance Sheet and Income Statement one click report. Excellent export to Office365 and .pdf files.

the product has no subsidiary ledger for other accounts like loans receivable, share capital, advances to officers and employees and others. Also the payable voucher and check vouchers have no way to indicate the series of document number. it is necessary for internal control purposes. The Journal voucher has no way to indicate the name of a customer, suppliers or employees.

This is only a small part of the total software package. You'll end up with a headache if you buy this base copy. You CAN upgrade it, but that will involve spending 2-3 hours on the phone with SAGE tec support. If they ever call you back...
