Tao Te Ching: A new interpretive translation Paperback – August 5, 2010

Best translation of the TAO I’ve read! It spoke to me. I’ve read several TAO books but this one really clicked for me. I first found it as a cheap copy on my Kindle, but love it so much I wanted it in print.

I bought this book as a gift for my dad. After researching other versions of the Tao, I realized this one has the best translations in my opinion. Its very easy to read and very insightful. I love the gentle reminders about life in this book. Its a very good gift to give to someone you care about. I'm sure anyone would benefit from reading this.

I have studied the Tao Te Ching for years as well as the I Ching. This translation I believe holds to the original text (as best as one can) better than any I have encountered over the years. The author has done an amazing job of making the intent and meaning of the original clear for English readers without attempting to get clever in choosing inappropriate similar words in order to be poetic. His result is excellent. Very well done.

I'm still looking for a translation that is a little less politically oriented, but this one is good and often speaks to a broader audience.

Good wisdom here. I recommend it.

There's several translations out there but this is by far my personal favorite. It keeps everything simple, really capturing the essence of Taoism.

great book. I'm a christian but I find the truth can be in all faiths and philosophies.
