As another reviewer noted, the clasp was broken upon arrival. I had planned to make some modifications to the pin fastener anyway, so that wasn't a really problem for me. I had just hoped to not need to do that this week before my event that I needed these for. My regular brooches are somewhere in the depth of my storage room, as are the tools and supplies I needed to fix the brooches. Still, these came fast and were at a price point I was willing to take the chance that I'd have to repair right away. I purchased a set of large safety pins from Joann's, shaped the back wire to fit into the brooch and used a lot of E6000 to glue it in place. let's hope everything holds for the day.

They are just like they look and looked great on my Celtic apron dress, the only problem is that when I opened the package one of the pins on the shell fell out. I did not have time to reorder, so my family helped me use J-B Weld on it and I was able to carefully pin it on the strap. The shell is made well enough that I was able to use a safety pin under the arch of it to attach my beads.

My brooches came in with part of the clasp broken off on each one. I didn't have time before my event to order new ones, so I whipped up some epoxy glue and secured the clasps back on. The pins are not strong enough to carry heavy beadwork like pictured, so I used secondary pins to attach to my shirt and just pinned the brooches over top decoratively. They look beautiful and as pictured. I just removed some stars for the breaks.

These brooches are beautiful on the front and a good value for the price. Unfortunately the pin back is too lightweight to be used to pin a Viking apron and treasure strands.

The broach's are attractive, however, before I even had the chance to apply them to my gown both pinsbroke off. It was very disappointing as they would have perfect for the Norse festival my husband will be attending.

I was not sure what to expect buying these online. I'm putting together my first Viking outfit for religious reasons. But I was very surprised and so pleased with the quality. They have a beautiful shine to them. The design is well made and still stands out when worn. Brooches are usually worn in pairs anyway, so getting two with one purchase was exceptional. Thanks!!!

I needed something to help decorate my plain viking apron and these fit the bill. They are were large enough to fit with the style and help the traditional sting of beads. They were a very good price for something I will only wear about 2 times a year.
