Cyber USB Japanese Keyboard (For Nintendo Switch) Black (Joy-Con Dockable)

For those that might be interested, I purchased this item for use in the U.S. for communication in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. It works instantly as a keyboard upon being plugged in, and while it "can" be used with joy-cons, I used it as a secondary device along side my pro controller and there was no issues with it taking over control. The keyboard does not need to be a player or anything like that-either there is a keyboard available and it works, or it does nothing notable. I did note that in MHGU that it does not have a way of opening the chat box with the keyboards own buttons-instead relying on you to open up the window first via your controller of choice(at least as far as I could tell, I tried using all of the buttons to no effect, but it might be a combo of specific buttons that I don't know about).The keyboard itself is extremely compact, causing your fingers to maybe not be able to press the buttons you exactly want to but then again, you could get used to this over time. The layout seems fine and while I find the enter key to be a bit close to the rest of the letters, sometimes causing me to hit the empty board on the side, I don't think that is too big of a deal (again, leaning to "you could get used to this over time"). If you have large hands I could definitely see this not being the device for you, while people with smaller hands absolutely adoring the size (I am somewhere in the middle, size wise, and find the layout a bit too compact currently).I have two gripes with the product, one being that the function key is used to activate extra keys, which will allow you to type special characters....the problem is that most of the symbols are in the wrong place, or just type the regular letter. This is the minor problem as the extra symbols are not exactly a big deal and you might be able to memorize their actual placements if you cared to do so. The really major problem I had was the enter button...it was overtuned in such a way that while all other buttons need to be pressed in order to activate them (like a normal keyboard does) this button is so sensitive that just slightly brushing it will activate it, generally causing the message to be sent early....sometimes it almost feels like it is even activated from the force used to press other nearby keys (backspace especially, making fixing mistakes an absolute chore at times).Overall I find that the products quality is great and besides the enter button that I will need to work around, I plan on having quite a bit of fun with this thing. Debatable between 3.5-4 stars, giving it over to 4 since the enter key might just be a defect for mine instead of a defect for all.

joy-conと合体するという利点に惹かれて購入。合体といってももちろん文字を打ち込む際は机に置かなければならないのですが。しかし、合体してくれるのは思いの外便利で、やれコントローラーを持つ、やれキーボードに移し替える…といった手間がなくなります。あと、ちゃんとランプが点灯するためテンションが上がる。（追記：ランプは正規のジョイコンストラップ同様、透明なプラスチックを通してジョイコン本体の発光を外に出す方式なので、ジョイコンを接続することで通電しているわけではありません。）ただし、・250gあるので、ずっと持って使うには結構重い・joy-conを充電できない（他社の合体型に充電できるものがあります）合体という所に注目するにしてもこれらは問題になります。また打鍵感など、キーボードとしての質もそこまで高くないです。大きさはちょうどいいので、悩みどころですが。価格も3000円と有線キーボードとしては高いので、joy-conとつながるというところに価値を見出せる人向けです。TV専用とありますが、USBハブ付きスタンドなどでテーブルモードでも使えます。（携帯モードでも変換ハブ / プラグがあれば使えますが、それならコントローラー合体キーボードである必要性がなくなります。）

Nintendo switchのコントローラを装着した時の大きさもキー入力も問題ありません。ただ、左右のコントローラの充電はできないため、コントローラのバッテリー残量が少なくなったときはこのキーボードから外して充電する必要があります。

TVモード専用と記載があるのですがテレビにつながなくても、USBハブさえあれば、使えます小さくて、キーも固めなので打ちやすいかと言われたら微妙ですが持ち運びが容易なサイズなので満足です

最初は良かったですが使用二週間くらいで、キーボード入力ができない行が発生し使えなくなりました。あまりおすすめできる商品ではないですね。

商品到着しました。早速、取り付け。ジョイントもキーボードからの文字打ち込みも不具合なく、問題有りません。価格も安くしていただき、欲しがってた本人はとても喜んでます。良い品を送って頂き、どうもありがとうございました。
