Great feel, Great price, Incredible customer service!
I bought these for my recent A2E conversion kit. I’d heard and read many reviews about other much more expensive mesh heads. I saw UKS Audio on Amazon and decided to take a chance on them. I am VERY HAPPY with these heads! The price is great, the heads are quiet enough and they work well with internal triggers. The best part is they feel great for me. There is a particular head you can also buy on Amazon that is often said to have the most realistic feel, yet I didn’t like it as much as the feel the UKS Audio heads provide. The heads are also well made and come packaged very well. Also, it was very important to find a company in the US. The BEST PART of my experience just happened: The first set of heads I bought, I tore through the top layer of mesh on the kick head. I asked for input here on Amazon, and a company representative actually replied! The suggestion was made for the type of beater that would best work with the mesh kick head. Then, I receive a message that the company wants to replace the head free! I was amazed. They could’ve had the attitude of I wasn’t using the “proper” beater therefore so it’s on me, but they did the opposite. And as I’ve just now opened the replaced head, I find a HANDWRITTEN NOTE, thanking me for being a customer! I will never forget this! The head worked well on my next gig and feels great! Thanks UKS Audio!

UKS Mesh Heads - Outstanding!!
After spending many years with Roland, Yamaha, Hart Dynamics, and Alesis electronic drums, I am now converting a 7 piece acoustic kit to electronic. After researching these and various other mesh heads, I decided on UKS Audio based on reviews and value. What a great decision!! These are made well, have great response, and a company that values customer service. After purchasing a packaged set of five heads, I was still in need of a 13” and another 16” to complete the project. I contacted UKS Audio through Messenger and was able to purchase the individual sizes I needed at a great cost. The owner even through in a surprise bonus (thank you very much). It is important to note that these are not only phenomenal mesh heads for electronic conversions or as replacements for existing mesh heads, they can also be used on acoustic kits to lower the volume threshold by leaps and bounds. Perfect for apartment dwellers or to not disturb the neighbors. Attack and response are there and you still get the tone of each drum at a minimal volume. I recommend highly for either application. Kudos to UKS Audio for a great product and superb service!!

Seem like really good affordable mesh heads so far
Cheapest two-ply mesh head I could find in the US. First set of mesh heads on my acoustic to electric conversion, but I'm very happy with the response and the visual wear and tear (very little in the first three months). no runs or tears in mesh fabric, no issues installing or with delivery. going to buy a second set to keep on hand in case any break in the future, would and will buy again.

5/5 build quality
Fit perfectly, material isn’t what i was expecting but made an astronomical difference in sound volume, well done.

Durable Mesh head. Better than my other ones.
I purchased these off of reverb.com after tons of discussion with the seller. The price was the same. I wanted to review these for him since he had asked a few months ago and I forgot to do it. I've had these for about 3-4 months now. I already purchased a set of Remo Silent Stroke Pack and I can compare the two. I initially liked the Remo Silentstroke a lot. However, my kick drum head started falling apart very quickly and I found myself getting a different feel as I continued to use the Remos. I kept tightening them and it didn't seem to help. I didn't even mount my floor tom head and noticed that there were already frayed edges on the drum head. So I started to look at different ones which is when I found these on reverb. I was able to ask the seller questions and he basically told me to try them and if I don't like them, he'd take them back.So when it comes to durability and feel of the drum head, these are much better. The UKS ones have a really solid ring around them. It's almost feels like a solid piece of metal. The remo had a very thin ring that can easily come apart which is what I think happened with my kick drum. With these, I can't imagine anything pulling apart from there and after 3 months of daily use, they look and feel like new. Also the Remo head has one ply and the UKS one has two. When I was first putting them on, I have to admit I actually I was concerned about the 2 separate layers because it looked a little strange to me but as you tighten them down its clear that having two layers definitely helps with how the drum head rebounds from the stick. Now, everyone is different so to each his own but for me it was a lot more comfortable than the trampoline effect of the single ply Remo's. The sound is right about the same. I couldn't detect any noticeable difference on a side by side comparison. I use them with drum triggers in a hybrid system so overall volume doesn't concern me but they would be fine as practice heads. Maybe even a little quieter but barely.Another side thing I will mention is that the Remo's came in a plastic bag and these came in an actual branded box. I'm assuming it would be the same through Amazon. Perhaps not a big deal but I'd want mine shipping with a box around them.So why not 5 stars? The remo's are a brighter white. The UKS ones are little duller. When you mount them the difference is minimal because both expand and become somewhat see through. (It's because they are both woven). I'm not sure how much the color matters on something that you are repeatedly beating with a stick but I thought I would mention it. All in all a good product. Normally I'd say I would buy again but judging by the way these things are holding up I don't think I'm going to need another set for a long time.

Nice!
Nice heads. It says two ply. But seems a little thinner. Definitely not one ply kinda of between. But in all good heads for the price!!

Save yourself the frustration.
Truly awful! Look bad, smell bad, fit poorly, make an irritating buzz when hit, bounce like there's no tomorrow...
