As an American, I've always been aware of the SAS as an entity, but never of how they came to be founded.This is an amazing story of courage. Pure and simple. Men who understood the enemy they faced and had the courage to do the job necessary. If I could find good portrait of David Stirling and the men as a group, I'd hang in in my den.Read this. These are they types of people we need today. RIP gentlemen.

Good interesting book about the original members of the SAS

Cracking book, I look after a gentleman who is one of the originals of the S.A.S and is now 95 years old. One of our original heroes.

Very good practical guide to silence the myths and legends and perhaps create new ones with fact, solid read.

Fascinating - excellent book.
