Works.
I really wanted these to fit my application. I was able to get them to work with some slightly thicker gauge than what they are rated for by stripping the wires. However, I wanted to splice in some lights on my car and I could not get these to clamp down on the car wires. That wire gauge must have been 16-18. They will probably work better on the suggested gauge size. When I pressed down to close the clamp it did work, but then it would just open up again

Sturdy connectors
Easy to use, connection made the first time on 18g wire. Haven't tried it on 22g yet. Reusable. I tried to use again with a test run and worked well. I have used the "Quick connect" plastic connectors and I really like these better plus you can extend a wire without soldering with the straight connectors.

Easy to use and reuse
Make sure to check gauge of wire shield. Not all thicknesses are the same. Had to down size my wire gauge to use these connectors as the insulation was too thick. Not the suppliers fault. They called it out when order. I suggest ordering their wire for a sure fit.
