They have a fine intuitive approach with the customer to help them get their designs just right.The only thing I regret is I'd wish I'd checked out their website sooner, it has great prices for various swords, including battle ready, all with their unique engraving options. Truly a good company with old school values.Now the sword itself. It is also good quality for the money, with the only disappointment being there was an unevenness to the sharpening, and some marring at the base of the blade near the crossguard. This however could be due to the engraving I asked for, which they fulfilled excellently but required an image be placed over the fuller.It really is an attractive sword, solidly built.For HEMA types who already own swords, it's fun for the collection. You can uses this for single sword drills, and if you're an average sized person the elongated scent stopper pommel allows for two handed longsword drills if you close your grip. Light cutting, sure, but probably not tatami work. Sword and buckler drills could be done, I guess, but you need to be in good shape for it.If you want to get into HEMA, but there's no school near you, and the cost is a deterrent, this is a good option for solo practice, but again, check out the vendor's website for really good longsword options. I'll be getting another sword from the vendor for sure. Good cost for quality and great customer service.

We got this sword with it inscribed for my son's wedding, they loved it so much is in all the wedding pics and now hangs prominently on the wall.Also I had some questions about the dimensions so I could make the Oak wall mounts and had answers from the community and the supplier in just a few hours. will be sending friends and family their way!

Nice! And that's a Brooklyn nice...Strongblade delivers: find a sturdy blade, such as this, for a better price...chances are you can't do it. Hefty in mass, true in form, pommel to point, and for me, and other medium to small hand folk, a true hand-and-a-half grip. The artwork/engraving is mint! I am afraid to flat-parry and mar the inscription (why can't I use the edge?). A Yankee Company crafting true blades. Rock on, Strongblade!

Never written a review this was so good had to write this! This was a show stopper at the party! The workmanship is stunning on this product. Beautiful sword and scabbard. The seller's description does not do it justice... it is magnificent!This leaves out the best part... infecting with the company for the engraving was amazing... really nice communication! And well laid out engraving.Fast delivery as well! I'll now look to purchase more of this companies products since they are so unique!

This is not "functional", it has a rattail tang and the sword itself was warped when I received it. It's just a decoration.

This product was amazing. I am pleased with the quality and care the sellers use for their product. They even include a card that helps you take care of the sword in the long term, as well as some polishing wax. I am very pleased with my purchase, and think it's spectacular. Also it's cool to have your own customizable text on the sword, I am just very pleased.

I liked that it cut through 2”branches easily enough. But, there is a gap in the guard. This will result in stress and could snap the blade at the guard.

Love the sword. Its heavy, wide and tough. The engraving was great. My one gripe was how uneven the sharpening is.
