I love the journal! I got the aqua one and it is perfect for my needs. I did reinforce the front and back covers, but if you like soft covers, it would be great as is.My only real complaint is the pen. I loved it at first. I even almost ordered the set of 6 available from Amazon. However, after 2 weeks of light use, the pen now skips and is dry. Since I can't open the pen enough to see how much ink is left, I can't tell if it already ran out and just doesn't have much ink to start with or if it dried up that quickly. I always keep the cap on when not in use and I definitely haven't used it enough to use up all of the ink that you'd expect a pen to have in it.To JoyNote: if you see this, I'd like to say that if you send me a replacement and it doesn't dry up in 2 weeks, I'll gladly make this my go to pen. I just can't be replacing my pen twice a month.

I wanted this for the pen holder. I do hear a scratchy/squealy noise when sliding the pen in and out. I'll be using my own pen which doesn't make that sound too much. The pen it comes with is a very fine tip which I like in case you need to write very small. It seems like a good pen. The pen holder does move slightly when sliding the pen in and out, but straightens out with a little push. A small piece of double sided tape might fix that problem. The book has 2 thin ribbons for page markers. The cover is very pretty, I love the aqua color. The cover is very pliable. It opens pretty flat. It came with 2 pages of monthly & plain sticker tabs, 2020 & 2021. It came in a nice simple box that said "A Gift For You" and the box was wrapped in plastic wrap, nice for gift giving. UPDATE: If I slide my pen in and out slower it doesn't make the squealy noise. The double sided tape works great to keep the pen holder from moving. I use scotch double sided tape. I cut it down to fit underneath the top prong.

I’ve filled about four of these notebooks and I keep coming back. Initially I bought one because I liked the simple style and color options. I kept buying them for the paper quality and included pen. The paper and the cover have a great texture, and the paper and the pen have great weight for tossing across the room, writing, or sketching. Great for journaling, class notes, a mouse pad, game night projectiles, and anything else really. One of the only products I buy again and again. One of the covers on a red one recently started peeling apart, but I’ve had the notebook for a few years and it’s endured it’s fair share of abuse, plus it’s nothing a dab of glue couldn’t fix.

This is a great book! It would make a great gift as well.I bought this as daily thankful journal for my family to do every night.There is a date slot on every page. The pages are thick that I can use all sorts of pens, thin markers and colors and it does not bleed through the pages.It's sturdy to use every day. I like the cover it would be great to add a customized cover for anyone or leave as is.The pen that comes with it was surprisingly vet nice.It's one of my favorite pens. It writes verym smooth and is a nice ink.The pen holder that attaches to the notebook is also very great and fits the pen well and would fit other pens as well .A great buy and would be a lovely gift.

I got this gift as a present for Christmas. I tend to write a lot for school so I know the difference between a good quality product for writing and one that isn’t. This product has amazing quality paper for writing where the ink won’t bleed through with using a pen. They gave a nice pen and even a silver thing for where you could put on a page with a pencil or even the pen they gave. If there is ever a problem you can easily reach them because they left a note in the package with their email. The outside is nice and is smooth and protects the paper. I love this gift and recommend it for anyone who wants to journal. With this journal they also gave stickers for each month to put on the paper. I love this gift.

I bought this book as a journal and I think it's a pretty decent book for the price. I got the Aqua color and I love the look and feel of it. The pen holder is removable which is handy because I can just slip the pen off, write and then reattach it. I find writing in the book with it still attached gets in the way of how the book lays and it's like trying to write over a small rock. I like that it came with a pen but I can't really use it. I started writing with it and after about a paragraph it started skipping like there were air bubbles in it. Maybe I just got a defective pen but it isn't a horrible thing. I just use my own. I use a mix of gel pen and ballpoint there is no bleed through on the paper with the gel pens which I am very happy about. The paper is thick but I can still faintly see that there's writing on the opposite side of it but unless you have paper close to watercolor paper that usually happens in any notebook. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to a friend and would most likely reorder when the time comes for a new journal.

I have had this for about a year and a half now. The front suede cover recently started to peel but I also take this everywhere w me and haven't taken the best care of it. Perfect journal for anyone that is looking for an affordable cute simple journal
