**UPDATE - 4/20/16** -- "Plant Steroid Sticks"
I swear by these plant food spikes!!! The package says they are for indoor plants, but I actually use them for all of my outdoor plants, especially my herbs. I first tried these after planting some basil and other herbs that seemed to be taking an eternity to grow. I went to a local home improvement store and searched the garden center for plant food but many of them were priced much higher than I was willing to spend until I found these spikes. I figured I'd give them a try since they were so inexpensive and wow!!!!! Within just a few days, my plants had grown more than double what they had grown in the previous several weeks!! One of my friends (who also enjoys gardening) came over to my house and was in awe of how big and healthy all of my herbs were. When I told her about these spikes, she went straight from my house to purchase some and had the exact same growth results.I now keep at least one extra pack of these on hand stored in a ziplock bag to protect from any water/weather damage, and I add new spikes about once every 6-8wks to my plants. I now use these "plant steroid sticks" (as my boyfriends refers to them as) in all of my plants -- they worked great in my tomato plants this summer, too! These spikes are a must for anyone wanted big, beautiful healthy plants!!!**UPDATE - 4/20/16**I am still using these spikes and LOVING them! I wanted to post a picture showing exactly how incredible these spikes are. On Monday (4/18), I took a picture of some mint to show my boyfriend that had somehow managed to stay alive through the entire Erie, PA winter in our garage (with no light, water, care, etc -- just sat in the planter), because I couldn't believe that they were still alive. I was really excited and added a few new spikes to the planter hoping that the little buds would eventually keep growing around the new mint plant (which is in the center of the planter in the picture). The NEXT DAY (4/19), I went back outside to continue working on the beginnings of this season's garden and was COMPLETELY SHOCKED at how much the little buds had grown in less than 24hrs. I still had the picture on my phone from Monday, so I took a second picture to show a side-by-side comparison. :) :) :)

Good
I have used this product before in the past. I think that it works well. All you have to do is push one of the spikes into the soil. Not difficult to use. It has been a while since I put in my plant pot and I have not had to use another one. This usually lasts a long time for me. I would recommend it.

Inexpensive, easy method to fertilize indoor plants!!
Super easy way to fertilize my indoor plants! No messy powders, sprays or having to mix solutions... just stick a few of these lilโ sticks around the edges of the pot and then water. Done! The package provides clear instructions for how many sticks to use for various size pots/planters, and where to position them in the soil. It gives guidelines for how often to use as well. I use the recommended amount every 3-4 weeks for my indoor plants.I use the miracle grow powder mix for my outdoor plants since I have a large area to cover, but these are SO easy to use for potted plants! I have used these for my various house plants ( Dracaena, golden pothos, etc) and they have all grown like crazy!! I havenโt used these on my succulents or my airplants; I use a separate fertilizer for those, as they have different needs, so Iโm not sure it would be good for succulents, cacti, or air plants... but itโs great for other houseplants!! Just be sure to read instructions and use as directed.

Plants Alive!
Using these are directed and my house plants are doing very well. Good value for how many you get as well. Be aware that if you have multiple and/or large plants, they require multiple sticks, so you may need more than you think. Also appreciate the included spike that make the sticks easy to insert into the potting soil.

Unbelievable Growth: June to August
Hello, fellow plant enthusiasts! I'm bursting with excitement to share the absolutely mind-blowing journey my plants undertook from June to August. I'm still pinching myself at how colossal and luxuriant they've grown. My place has turned into a bona fide pothos paradise.Hold tight, because the story continues. Let's talk about my lucky bamboo โ seven years of stagnant existence. Then, I introduce this mystical product into the mix. August sneaks in, and suddenly, my bamboo is like a whole new plant. It's as if it got a serious dose of plant steroids, with new leaves sprouting up like confetti.I'm no botanical expert, but I'm waving the flag high for this product. It's as if it waved a wand over my plants. For those of you who share my leafy obsession, this is a game-changer you've got to try.
