I bought this on Jul 12, 2019.GP 12V Alkaline Batteries - Size 23A - 2-PackSold by: MYBATTERYSUPPLIERBought for $3.15.It is Nov 19, 2023 and recently my remote was working weaker and weaker, so I pulled the battery out and it was breaking open. The other battery is still working fine.I am slightly disappointed about it breaking open, but it did not leak anything and it did not damage the remote. So, for half of $3.15 it gave me over 4 years of use. I'd call that pretty darn good.

Used on garage remote
Worked great on garage fan remote and saved me from driving around and looking for these odd size batteries.

They work but are old stock.
Definitely not "fresh inventory" with a 2020 use by date . Otherwise, they work and were inexpensive.
