Sugar Bush Yarn Drizzle Fine Weight, Blue Haze

Soft, fluffy and wonderful to work with. No tangles or knots. Purchased to make a shawl for my son’s girlfriend’s prom came out great and she looked stunning. He said she got compliments on it all evening.

I used it in combination with DK merino yarn for headbands and it gave amazing softness and beautiful halo. Was as fluffy after washing and blocking. I ordered some cheap yarn on Amazon from China but after trying those there is really NO comparison. Those are really worth their price - I guess, as always, you get what you pay for...

I have to admit that I’m not familiar with lace-weight yarn so I don’t know how this compares to others. The core of this yarn is the same thickness of sewing thread, which is perfect for my project (I’m knitting a shawl that I hope will look like it’s made of old spiderwebs) but it might not be suitable for yours. I have found it to be surprisingly strong and easy to work with using size 6 wooden needles.

The yarn knits well, the puffy fuzzy texture remains when the tension is tight. it is extremely soft feeling and pretty. I combined the yarn with a more bulkier gray DK wool yarn by twisting them slightly together while knitting and got a lovely varied colored fabric. The combination made the scratchier wool yarn very soft.

First off, the red sky color is closer to being coral. The other issue I had with it is that it is finer than a lace weight yarn. I found it to be like knitting with fuzzy dental floss. If you are an experienced knitter this may be great, but for a not so deft knitter like me, it was much too fussy to knit with.

Exactly what I was looking for! Super thin thread, but the mohair definitely is noticeable on the finished product. No issues with breakage despite how fine it is. Will buy again.

I knit animals and this yarn gives wonderful warmth and realism

Combined with a thicker yarn to give the item an extra finished look. Great, goes a long way.
