Beautiful portable gong fu set with a caveat
I love having my tea gong fu-style, and this tea set hits the spot.Pros:1. Its padded bag makes the set easy to carry around. (I carried it around with me for a day and it survived okay.)2. The teapot is comes with is good for serving 3-4 people, if not more.3. It looks beautiful, just like it does in the pictures.4. Tea set seems to be of good quality, from the cups to the padded bag to the tea towel.Cons:1. I don’t enjoy its lack of the traditional on-the-side handle. To pour the tea, you have to hold it in a kind of pinched manner, as if holding it in the cup of your palm. (See photos for what I’m talking about.) This can be dangerous, and I feel that practice is needed to strategically avoid the hot parts of the pot.2. The lid for the tea carrier is not a perfect fit, so putting your tea leaves in it could end up badly if you overturn your tea bag while in transport.Other notes:1. The serving tray can hold enough water for heating up and serving maybe just one or two rounds of tea. (It’s a rather shallow dish, being small enough to carry around.) It’s very light though, and easy to lift up even when full.2. Teapot and tea cups are thin - good for getting your tea asap, but possibly bad if you prefer thicker cups.(The set does NOT come with the sieve I have in one of the photos.)Overall, a beautiful, portable, well-made gong fu-style tea set, but the grip for the teapot is a little different from most.

Love my new weekend tea ritual
When this arrived, I was stunned how tiny it is. Really. The pot fits into the palm of my hand. I immediately put it back in the box and was going to send it back. I drink lots of tea, American mug size. How could this possibly be enough? The cups look like one sip cups. I reread everyone's reviews and couldn't believe no one brought this up. I went back to you tube videos, sure something was wrong. But no, every set used was actually very tiny. It's beautiful, it really is. I love the clay pot, and the feel and various color of the cups. I bought it with a gift card, so figured I should just try it. Surprisingly, the size wasn't a problem at all. I might drink four cups worth, and if I really love that tea, might fill the pot up again a couple times. It's not an inconvenience, and helps me go slow and savor each small cup rather than just gulping it all down. I'm so glad I kept it. I look forward to weekend mornings and my monthly tea subscription so much more now.

Excellent Gong Fu tea set for traveling
This tea set for Chinese gong fu infusing is great for travel. It is well-padded to protect from damage. It is compact enough to work well on small hotel room tables. And it is beautiful - several people have remarked how attractive it is. Be warned if you are accustomed to western-style tea brewing - this set is small and intended for Chinese-style infusing. The only improvement I would make is that this tea set has a dry leaf container but not a gong dao bei (fairness cup). I actually use the dry leaf container as a gong dao bei, but it has no spout for accurate pouring. This is a small inconvenience, and overall I have really enjoyed this portable tea travel set.

Perfect for dorm!
Perfect size for me in my dorm! I absolutely love it and would suggest it for anyone else who wants a tea set to use while studying or at a desk for an extended period of time.

Beautiful set!
I can now understand why the Asians use small tea sets, the point is to relax and enjoy the aroma, and with every little sip you take you inhale and exhale allowing your stress to melt away, like soft meditation.

Small but functional.
Its fun but really really small, great for traveling or if you’re giving a tea service to yourself. If you like giving tea service to more than one person I’d recommend another set.

Very tiny
It really is tiny, but I think that's on purpose, if you watch some videos on gong fu tea. My 12 year old loves it!

Very cute, wooden pallet broke immediately tho
I am super happy with the tea set. The base legs of the wooden pallet broke almost immediately in using it my first time, however, which was a bummer. Super cute for a gift.
