Definitely imported from China, not Japan, as advertised
Right on the box it says "Made in China" so the headline advertisement is false. The toner cartridge installed fine but don't follow the installation instructions on the box package; they are for some other cartridge and some other printer. For correct instructions, I referred to the original owners manual issued by Brother. Can download it if you no longer can find it. As for the toner performance, it's working just fine. I have no idea what the yield (in page count) will be. The original Brother cartridge lasted 20 years.
