LavaLockRED - XTR12 1000F High Temp Rated BBQ Smoker Gasket Self Stick Felt 1/2 x 1/8

This was very easy to install and has been great with my first couple cooks/smokes. I have yet to try a really high temp activity like making pizza (which is why I bought it) and so I'll update this accordingly when I do that.

working great on the fire box at the moment. I have it on a old country bbq pecos smoker.It worked well and a few months ago I was preparing for a cook and it slid right off I will try it again I guess I might half to change it every couple years

I believe the lavalock XTR is worthless to use on a "new" smoker or grill. It does not stick properly at all. I believe it may work better on aolder smoker that has been seasoned. Or on a surface that no longer has that slight glaze of newest. I did use a quality degreaser and then alcohol to clean the surface. It still didn't want to stick with confidence. If this product requires a full prep job of sanding and priming the surface to get it to stick.... Then I don't want it. Island outdoor has a no questions asked, one time replacement for any type of failure. But why would anyone want to replace worthless for useless. Isn't there an old adage that says: Stupidity is doing the exact same thing over and expecting a different result. No Thanks, I be trying a different product.

Great product and created a great seal on my new smoker! Happy customer for sure.

So far ao good! Keeps my peller grill looking new.

This gasket works well even on the offset firebox. It does a good job sealing and is easy to install.

Great fit and seal on my Oklahoma Joe's Longhorn Reverse Flow fire box.
