LEGO Superheroes The Tumbler

I cannot describe how amazing this model is once you've built it and have it in front of you. It's outright imposing due to its size. While not to scale to the typical lego mini figure it exhibits exceptional detail and is an absolute looker. It is definitely one of the most amazing lego assemblies that are purchasable and it definitely looks more like a display show piece than a toy. With the easy to follow instructions it will take you around 8 - 10 hours, depending on how efficient you are in sorting and assembling. Some owners have complained about things falling off when they move it around but I think that's highly exaggerated and should not take anything away from a 5-star rating since this model is mostly for display and not for actual playing (it's not to scale anyway). It is mostly very well constructed with a solid base frame. But sure, if you play rough with it or apply pressure on the spoilers at the back or let your kids play with it, things can fall off. If you're on the fence, get it. You won't regret it.

Pro's: -fun, long build great for quiet relaxation. -incredibly well designed build that stays faithful to the films. -big, imposing final product with great attention to detail. Looks amazing in a display or on a shelf. -Cool factor is off the charts. Cons: -Some people say it is flimsy, but this product leans a little bit more towards "collectors item" and less towards "toy," so that's to be expected.. It's fine rolling back and forth, but this isn't really meant to be played with a ton. -the box was a little bit dented, but for an item that's out of production that can happen. I don't keep my boxes, anyway, so I didn't feel the need to ding the rating, but for those who do, just know that damage to the box is a very real possibility.

So this was my first real "big boy" LEGO set. I plunked down $200 on LEGO. I didn't even tell my wife how much this thing cost because I knew she'd look at me like I was crazy (but also love the set once built). I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had an entire evening and morning to myself and decided I would watch all three of the Nolan Batman movies while building this colossal set. I thought I'd maybe make it through the first one and get halfway through Dark Knight. I actually watched all 3 movies to completion and still needed a short TV show to finish it out. It's easily an 8-10 hour build depending on your level of expertise and your current abilities in spotting tiny pieces. The set is incredibly intricate. There are 5 books to work your way through and each section is incredibly well thought out in terms of build quality and creativity of each individual section. You'll rarely repeat the same thing twice. Overall, I highly recommend this set, especially if you love LEGOs as much as I do.

Huge Batman fan. The Dark Knight Trilogy are my favorite movies of all time. I had to get this set sooner or later and finally bit the bullet. To be honest, I had resigned myself to the fact that it would be a used set, since it's been years it has been commercially sold, and was simply hoping all the pieces would be there. To my surprise, it was a brand new set! Nothing had been open, all the bags were factory sealed, etc. Super fun to build and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. (Note: The figures in the Tumbler do not come with it. Since the lego figures that do are not to scale for the seats, I found some mini figures that did fit the seats myself).

So after seeing this wonderful Lego set within an Lego store I had to have it as I am a huge batman fan. Coming straight out of the movies and in to your home rolls in the tumbler. Pros: You get seriously a bang for your buck(s) Tons of hours deepening on how well you love to build Legos. The tumbler is huge( I'll add a photo ) Heath ledgers joker and bale's batman figures Cons: it takes time to build (not that I'm truly complaing here I didn't care because in the end it was worth it to me.) Some assembly was a little rough to connect together. Some of the flaps would not stay in place but that could be just me. Overall I give the Lego tumbler a 9.8 out of 10. Again if you love the Nolan series of the take on batman you will not be disappointed and it's sold out in most stores or you will pay more I will be placing this baby in a glass display.

I've recently started building Legos again due to the pandemic and I feel lucky to actually buy the Bat Tumbler. It just looks amazing and I find it pretty fun to play with especially having my other Classic 89 Batmobile. The building was fun especially watching Batman movies. As for the box since it's 7 years old, it kinda showed it's age. Yet it still looks great. Even though this is the most expensive Lego set i've ever purchased, I still recommend buying this before it's too late (kinda is). Not sure if Lego would ever make another Lego Tumbler in the future.

AWESOME..... AWESOME... Have I mentioned this was Awesome yet? My oldest son received this for Christmas, we didn't see him for 2-3 days (because his brother who is a toddler pushed it off the table once). After his several day journey of building this bad boy, it looks great with his collection of other legos. This is a great addition to any lego set, but if you have the Super Hero sets you need this to feel complete, or at least feel like your pretty awesome. I wanted to help but he wouldn't let me on this one, it was a lot of pieces but he got sense of accomplishment when this was done. I think this was his largest set to date. If you are a lego enthusiast or a super hero enthusiast your collection is not complete without it.

My husband loved his gift. It was received in perfect condition.
