I love this chew. My dog loves this chew. She's a 6-month old puppy and is into everything; this chew keeps her entertained forever and away from things she should not chew.DISCLAIMER: No one tells you that some dogs may be lactose intolerant and that this chew can give them major stomach upset. I think it's a rare problem, but it turns out that my dog can't have these anymore and I am heartbroken!

I got these and they looked like they had been kicked around the floor of a warehouse for a year or 3. If the chews were good or not I don't know because I wasn't going to give them to my girls when the package looked like that. I called Amazon with in 10 minutes of checking my mail to return them. My dachshund girls are family so if it's something I wouldn't buy at the grocery store to eat myself then I'm not going give it to my girls either. The package looks a lot worse in person than pictures and there was no way I was feeding these to my family.

My neighbor gave one to our dog and it took him four days to chew it down to a nub. He loves it. These seem so much better than the nylon bones. It doesn't upset his stomach at all. He carries it around with him even when he isn't chewing it and even brought it to bed last night. I figure one every other week will keep his teeth in good shape and satisfy his need to chew.I bought the 5lb bag and split it with the neighbor. I do hope they will become less expensive in time.

On the plus side, my dogs liked them. Unfortunately, they were about as long-lasting as a rain coat made out of tissue paper.I'd purchased a yak chew at a dog food store. It was expensive. So I fired up Amazon and ordered two of these. It was cheaper...but cheaper is what I got. As mentioned, they didn't last. I gave them to my dogs (Corgi mix and German Shepherd mix) around noon. By 10 PM, the German Shepherd was finishing them up (both of the chews). Meanwhile, the original expensive one sat off to the side, a sad neglected stub--but I've had it for about 3 weeks. And that's with the two dogs fighting over it, playing keep away, and randomly chewing on it.

I buy these regularly. They are FANTASTIC!! i have a 6 month old sheltie, and have gifted them to beagles, labs, other shelties, German Shepherds. Every single owner asks where to order them!! No choking fear. If a piece breaks off just microwave it & it puffs up into this wonderful crunchy cheesy bite. Like all chews, never let your pet chew unobserved. But these are no mess, no odor, no stains. Just wonderful!!

I had received a different brand of yak's milk dog "bone" in a Barkbox and was impressed with how long it lasted and how much my dog enjoyed it. When we needed another, I bought this brand because it was cheaper. I won't be buying this brand again, as my dog (who isn't a voracious chewer) has been able to chew off pieces of this. With the other brand (Himal), she could never break off any pieces and it lasted for days.

My little mini aussie spends a few hours on each one, loves 'em. Just make sure you take it away when it gets down to a nub so they don't choke. Microwave for a minute or two until it puffs up and give it back when cool.

Our lab has had these since age 3 months. she looks forward to these everyday. especially when they get too small to chew and we warm them up in the microwave, making them into a cheese puff. The company is great at fulfilling orders, always on time so she isn't without and a lot cheaper than the pet store.
