I was pleasantly surprised when it was able to reduce the August humidity in room from 70 down to 56 (Hyderabad climate). But this model will do the job only for a smallish room max 10'x10' in size.Note that if you don't connect the hose outlet and continuously drain the water, it will sound an ALARM when the internal water holding tank reaches full capacity. The alarm has woken me up from sleep in the middle of the night and I am reducing a star because of that.I wish there was an option to disable the alarm entirely when it pauses functioning due to the tank at full capacity.

Not suitable for room volume more than 300 Cft. Even in a properly double sealed room the humidity level can't be controlled below 45 despite setting the machine at 30, when atmospheric humidity is around 80.

Started operating the night I received it, and left it on for over 6 hours in a closed room (< 150 sq. ft.). First, it did not dehumidify as expected: set the scale to 40, 45, 65 RH, but it sucked down to ~74 RH, then increased it above 80 RH! This is just one example of thos weird behaviour. Continuous water collection was going on, however. Tried it at different positions in the room, but ultimately we all ended up spending the night together in a different, cooler room. Second, it gave out hot air from the air vent. Third, the device would display sudden tremors during operation.Summary: Pathetic functioning.

Nice product

Very nice product. Works efficiently in reducing humidity. Within one hour it reduced humidity from 94 to 76 today.

Great product, great service from manufacturers and low noise floor. Much better priced that other brands, but equally competitive to imported counterparts and infact a more practical solution.
