Good quality, great price
Bought this for my beginner rig. I'm only interested in cruising, and want an easy, worry-free ride. The 83mm wheels are what drew me to this kit. The wheels and trucks seem like good quality. The bearings seem OK, though I had to work a bit harder than I had expected to cruise around the block. I plan to upgrade to zealous bearings once I get my groove back. I put these trucks in a yokaher drop through low rider deck, with no issues; however, the bottom of the trucks are not as clean and polished as the rest of the trucks. This only really matters on drop through decks, since they're top-mounted and you can see the bottom. I didn't use the risers, but they just seem like normal risers. No regrets on the purchase. Also, I bought some riser shock pads for the top of the board between the trucks, and metal and rubber washers combo for the hardware on the bottom of the board to prevent the nuts from sinking into the deck and to provide a little more shock resistance. Also, not sure if all skateboard wheels are like this, but these wheels have a STRONG plastic smell. I left them in the open in our second bedroom with the door closed and the next morning the room smelled heavily like the wheels. I now keep a plastic bag over the wheels with a rubber band when storing inside.Update: I've replaced the bushings, washers and pivot cups with an 'almost precision' kit from muirskate. I had to replace the kingpin with a 2.75" kingpin to do this. The pivot cups are the same size as the PNL pivot cups; I could only find these made by riptide. The board has great handling now.

Get better bearings
I have been longboarding for 8 years now and have 8 boards so I would say i'm fairly experienced in this area. This trucks and wheels combo is excellent because of the large soft wheels which help roll over pretty much any crack or bump the roads or sidewalks will throw at you. The pavement at the school I go to is rough which is why I bought the set with the larger wheels and they are great. Because of the size of the wheels though you need to have wheel wells or a traditional board so as the wheels wont hit when you turn. Risers can also help but you will need different hardware and you will probably be an uncomfortable distance from the ground for pushing. The only problem I have with this product is the bearings which are pretty garbage. If you are a beginner and just want to go at slow to moderate speeds they are ok but I recommend getting better bearings for faster, smoother pushing and cruising to limit the effort needed to ride. Bones red or Neal bearings are a great affordable choice.

This is a complete steal, don't walk away from it.
Whatever you might be thinking about the price vs. quality of this item, don't worry about it! I have been skating for like 20 yrs or more and downhilling for the past eight or so on and off. The quality of these trucks are seriously comparable to my randall 180s, and the wheels (!). Abec 11s cost an arm and a leg! especially if you slide a lot and tear them up. The rubber on these is just fine for hard carving but because of size is great for hills. Anything over 80mm is really expensive. the risers are risers and the hardware is just fine. The bearings have yet to junk out. I can't really tell yet if they will hold. They are just as fast as other Abec 7s. I have ran many brands over the years and these seem okay (?) time will only tell. They are plenty fast though for a budget build (oil them first). Ordered some softer bushings for cheap and now this kit has got me wondering why I have spent so much on name brand stuff? Please consider this purchase if you are building your own downhill setup. The trucks have the same frame as randalls so they should run in a dropthrough.

Good enough and great value
I used this to build an electric skateboard. I had to file the truck down but it wasn't super bad. The bearings are probably not the best but they get the job done. I also really like the inclusion of rubber risers. The hardware is decent quality to. The trucks are also probably not that great in terms of feel compared to others, but they get the job done and the value here is really good.

Good for brand new skaters
This kit is ok for beginners. The large wheels are great for going over pebbles and cracks and the hardware works fine. However, the trucks ran a little too tight for my liking and I could barely turn them even with the kingpin nut almost falling off. I picked up a longer kingpin from Home Depot and now the trucks turn great. The bearings are super loud straight out of the box, so I cleaned and oiled them. However, they were still loud and slow so I replaced them with Zealous bearings a day later. This kit is alright if you’re just learning or are not too picky about how you ride, but if you are, you’re going to have to switch out a few parts.

Worth it
Thanks Owlsome , putting your bearings at first is gonna require you to have something blunt to just push your bearings down the wheels but other than that it’s all good , they’re great , if you like going fast but with as little pushing as possible these are the wheels for you .

Awesome set for a drop deck(or double drop) Symmetrical
Awesome set for a drop deck(or double drop) Symmetrical.slapped them on a 41" Rimable Drop-deck and they run crazy!!! the height combined with the drop give you great control and stability while also giving you the clearance of a free-ride deck. The wheel diameter adds serious speed and the trucks and bushings are snappy and make for a lively ride. Would probably be Bitey on a non cut-out boardgreat buy for the Money!!!!

Great ride and price.
Installed on a 38” kick tail deck. Rides very smooth and stable. The trucks came a little loose so I tightened them up a few turns.
