We had already bought the pale pink skirt and liked it so much we decided to buy the gray one too. The skirts are very durable and I love that the waist band is an actual elastic sewn on band and not just fabric doubled over with elastic running through it, which tend to roll and creep up. Some reviews said that the skirts were sheer but I don't see that and most kids would wear some kind of legging under it anyhow. It definitely has a "whirling-twirling" factor built in to it because that is exactly what a girl will do when wearing this skirt!

This Item Runs Small/Color not as pictured.
I have a tall, thin 5 yr-old. She is 44 & 3/4 inches tall and about 44 lbs. I ordered this skirt in a size 6. As you can see from the picture, it is not very long, so it can’t be worn alone. The color is different than the color in the Amazon photo. This skirt is a dark red and not a bright fire-engine red. My daughter loves it, so a win for us.

Love these twirly skirts
Love these twirly skirts. They are well made and quite lovely. They make every day a dress up day! We have ordered several. The waist band is sewn on and not just a looped over fabric with elastic run through it. That helps to keep the skirt from rolling up and makes the skirt a little more elegant.

my pup LOVED the skirt
I know this was probably NEVER expected to be a skirt for a dog, but it was my intended use. My pup had a growth she needed to leave alone in her inner thigh and I simply wanted her to be blocked from licking. Well not only did this do it perfectly, my pup LOVED the skirt, she's all tail wags and happy prancing. The tulle ruffled part is a little rough but that's what I needed to dissuade her. For human and dog alike the inner fabric (slip?) is really soft and rather than keeping heat in, like I thought it may, kept her belly cool.

Great Skirt! (but runs small)
After reading a few reviews I decided buy a size 6 for my 3-year-old daughter. She usually wears a size 4. It fits her perfectly! She loves it! It is an acceptable modest length, just above the knee. She is wearing it as part of a costume but will for sure be wearing it daily.

Nice skirt and good price
I bought this skirt to my 8 year old niece for her dancing class. Very cute and perfect fit. The pure gray color with dots is so fashion. She love it very much. It also has a good price.
