Not tough enough
Yep, one use and it's garbage: dog ate the ears, then the bottom of it. I should have been watching him more carefully to see when he finished what was inside. He likes to chew rubber things, and this just didn't stand up.I thought it would be alright because he's senior dog and doesn't have his front lower teeth and his uppers are very worn.

My dogs love this, but it's a bit big
My dogs love this, but it's a bit big. Similar concept as the KONG, but not as thick. The dogs were able to chew a larger opening into the bottom of the bear. I heard you can fill and freeze for a cool treat for your dogs in the summer, which I did. It's hard for them to get to the bottom of the bear, and then it's hard to clean out since the hole is so small. In hindsight, the hole they chewed was actually helpful in getting to the bottom since the hollow part is so large. We still have and use occasionally, but this is not the go-to treat for us. I won't be buying this product again simply because there are better options on the market.

Fine as a chew toy
My dog wasn't into getting the peanut butter cookie stuff out of the toy, but she didn't mind chewing on it. She quickly lost interest.

Safe and Versatile Treat
Gimmie Gummy Stuffable Bear, large, is an excellent treat holder for medium to large sized dogs. The product is tested to children's toy standards and is free from phthalates for peace of mind. Our pets are a part of our family, why give them anything less than children-safe quality toys?Pro's:Oven safe to 450 degreesFreezer safeDishwasher safeShape holds treats inside wellCon's:Thinner "shell" than many of the rubber treat chews we're used to.I purchased this product for our large 5+ month old Bouvier puppy to help him through teething. A simple mixture of banana, peanut butter, and a bit of yogurt blended, poured in, and frozen for 2 hours provided a great distraction for him and (hopefully) made his mouth feel a bit better. The product also serves as a perfect vessel forĀ Puppy Cake Red Velvet Cake Mix . From frozen chicken broth and veggies to carrot and sweet potato puree, there are many healthy and inexpensive home-made fillings that can be used for this treat holder. As with all pet toys, your dog should be supervised while chewing this. Ours has yet to show signs of wear, but when it does it will be time for a replacement. I would not recommend using this as a chew toy. It's strong and durable, but it's no replacement for a heavy duty chew toy. Once the treats are gone swap it for something different. If you've found this review helpful, please indicate by clicking below.

My dog chewed right through this in a matter of an hour. She was pooping purple pieces out for a week. If I could give this a lower rating I would.

I bought this to replace another gummy bear toy that I got my pup at a local pet store. I thought it was adorable when it came in the mail and the color is spot on and vibrant...but my dog was able to tear off both ears in under 30 minutes. The rest of the bear is still intact all these months later, but those ears didn't stand a chance for some reason.

My GSD loves these. He plays with it all the time, great chew toy for the teething puppy. I recommend these to anyone who has a large breed puppy.
