Loved this when I worked in a kitchen in the 80's. It is nice to find it available in smaller cans today and with good ingredients and still Tasty! Highly Recommend!

I enjoyed for the most part, the flavor of the sauce. I think it was a little on the expensive side for the amount of sauce that you get. I don’t know if I would purchase this again only for the economics of the price per ounce.

This is the best pizza sauce I have ever had that was not homemade. It has the freshest ingredients and taste. One can took care of a 17-inch skillet pizza without having to spread it thin. It tastes fresh just like homemade. I will only purchase this brand from here on. I think once you try this brand, I don't think you will purchase any other. I highly recommend this brand for everyone to try.

every one of the 3 cans had severe dents - I sincerely hope it doesn't show damage on the inside of the can when I use them . I'm sure the flavor is as good as it always is but since this is the only place I can get this branch from where I live, I won't be ordering again - don't want damaged goods.

I really can't believe the condition of these cans. Every side, on each can, has dents in them, so much so that one can was split open and oozing out sauce. The dents are so many, and so deep, that they are not safe to eat. It's too bad because I heard that this sauce was really good, but I will never know as I will not order again, and should have paid more attention to the other many, many comments regarding dents in their cans as well.

A friend gave me her calzone recipe, and it included the note that I MUST USE PEPINO PIZZA SAUCE. Being in California, the most convenient place for me to buy it is via Amazon. Lo and behold, it is a delicious pizza sauce, and now it is my go-to for calzone and homemade pizza.The sauce has some tomato chunks, which add bursts of brightness in a calzone, but it's not so chunky that it's hard to spread on pizza. At the same time, it's not too thin or watery. The flavor is well-balanced, just enough garlic, onion, and herbs so that the sauce has complexity, but the main flavor is tomato. It is what my daughter now calls "the good sauce".
