Once I was able to determine the correct fan for my Mac Book Pros I ordered this guy. Since you are ordering this part you probably have the wherewithal to install it yourself, that said I recommend you open your laptop and verify what fan or fans you need. Some Mac Book Pro laptops have two fans and some have one so be sure you are ordering the correct part. The fan I received was very easy to install (three screws and a connector) and is as quiet just like the original. After several months fan still operating perfectly.

Good replacement fans for my 2012 MacBook Pro. The install wasn't to complicated. I followed the instructions from the ifixit.com website. The fans work but I can hear a low wheezing sound coming from the back of the MacBook. It's only noticeable if I'm working in a quiet room, which isn't good for my anxiety but it gets the job done by keeping my MacBook temps under control.

The fans were easy to install. Literally 3 screws per fan. You may hear some louder sounds at first but once they spin and get warm, it'll be fine. Fans can be loud but that's not the fans fault. My computer spins them at 6200rpm at its heaviest load. Overall, I'd say they're good. I got them because my old fans were making strange noises.

My mid-2010 MBP had really noisy fans; they were unacceptably loud. I didn't know it was the fans at first though; maybe it was the hard drive? I removed both fans and my computer was silent; therefore, it was the fans. I bought these and replaced them myself. It's very easy to do–just make sure you have the correct screwdrivers. I say this as a person who has never once done any computer repairs/replacements before. These fans seem to be identical to the ones that came with my MBP and they work great and are quiet too. Definitely buy these!

My 2012 15-inch MacBook Pro was becoming unusable because whenever I turned it on, the fans would start rattling all around and it would start to overheat. This new one was easy to install with just a few screws, and now my computer works like new again! The only complaint is that it now has a notiicable thrumming sound, but it's not super loud. Also note that you may need some special screwdrivers to replace the fans. I needed a tiny Phillips to get the back off, but the fans themselves were held in with tiny star screws.

Total waste of money. I bought as a back up for when my laptop needed a new fan as I had one that makes noise from time to time. I checked to make sure it was compatible with my model and the description said it was. I went to install the other day and they are the wrong size and model. Since I bought in advance I and can’t return or exchange now. Total waste of money. Will never buy from this seller again. They have inaccurate information and now I guess I just have to pocket my loss. Waste of money!!

When the product was first installed, it sounded VERY quiet. The machine is on pretty much all the time. It has been 8 months, and the left fan is very loud with what seems a bit of clunking. It sounds like it is no longer balanced correctly or something. I expected the fans to last longer. It was for a MacBookPro 15" mid 2009, and the original fans lasted until 2022. So, these not lasting 8 months seems NOT GOOD to me.I don't really see many choices for purchase, so for the cost I might try another set and see if this is just because of one bad part. It could happen to any company. We shall see.
