Great value overdrive sounds
I've only got an acoustic amp, which is essentially a mini pa, so bought this to get a better sound when using my electric. Given the price I paid for it, the sound is great, much better than the basic electric sound. Given all the controls, there's plenty of flexability to get lots of different sounds. I believe the "British sound" version of the pedal is meant to replicate different types of Marshall amps, which I guess it does if you know the right settings to dial in to get the sound you want - it would be nice if it actually included some examples of how to dial in different sounds, but you can find info on the internet or simply experimentMy device says "Baker Street" rather than "British Sound", looking at Caline's website, they have simply change the name, I personally prefer the new one, but it's the sound that's important...

Good value simple set up.
Versatile unit , can be used as an overdrive pedal ,or as I bought itfor , a direct into a PA system simulator pedal , as a backup if my amplifier went down on a gig.

“Marshall” it is not
Anyone who says this sounds like a Marshall have probably never played a real Marshall. Had a couple of hours with it and came away disappointed.

Fantastic value pedals
This is my second Cadine pedal and they are really amazing value for money, solid and work well. The detail of this one was slightly different to the photo but if anything I prefer the "Baker Street" labelling that I got. For the price paid what's not to love. The other pedal I got was the "Tantrum" which is also great. 100% recommended although it remains to be seen how reliable and solid they are in the long term there's nothing that gives me any cause for concern at this early stage.

Decent sounds
I have both the joyo Vox and Fender versions, which are generally higher regarded than the Marshal version. I was expecting to be less impressed with this unit. However, i think it's great. i normally gravitate towards Fender amp tones but the clean tones from this are actually really nice. The crunch and higher gain sounds are also pretty decent. A bit surprise for me was how good this works with a fuzz pedal, all into a digital amp simulator. The analogue nature of the London sound works with the fuzz better than the digital until, it really smoothes out the sound. I thought these Caline pedals were exactly the same as the joyo units, but they're not, they don't have a hatch for a battery, a bit plus though is that they come with an external battery snap lead.

Caline Baker Street
