Adventure Time Mad Libs (Adventure Time W/Finn and Jake) Paperback – October 11, 2012

I love Mad Libs anyway, and have since I was a kid. I love to do them with my daughter because they're a fun way to learn about nouns, verbs, and adjectives! This particular Mad Libs book is one of the BEST ever. And I'm not even an Adventure Time fan, my daughter is. But seriously, these are great, very creative stories, and any fan of the show will have a fantastic time with these!

A Christmas gift that I got for my boyfriend, we tried one page of it and had a blast reading it through. Can be great for younger kids as well to get them used to verbs, adverbs and all that good stuff. I liked how the book came with a definition for each thing they ask for because I certainly have forgotten some of them lol.

Great present for younger Adventure Time fans. Kept the kids busy in the car. Our family recorded the answers in separate paper so they could be reused for future enjoyment.

Nice, but my son has yet to use it. Not sure why. Perhaps just because it is mad libs. Mad libs you usually want to do with someone else, so that you can both laugh, and I guess reading isn't high on his priority list when he has friends over.Great for Adventure time fans, probably older who actually enjoy sitting down and testing their English skills (adjective, noun, verb, etc)... Not sure if more active kids would get a kick out of this as much.

I love mad libs. They are a great tool for getting kids imagination going. I even use these as a party game for my son's Adventure time themed party. This is a must for any fan. Even the adults love the crazy stories you end up with.Also it can be used as a great tool for homeschooling or just helping a child who may be struggling in english.

I got this for my best friends birthday. She turned 21 and it was a lot of fun actually. I was very happy for the price of the item.

Fun for my husband and I to do together when bored. The trick to a great mad lib is to pick a random theme. For example, Pirates. Sail, rope, plank, hook, rum, boat, fight! Anyways, great fun for adults and kids!

I'm so glad I purchased this. I remember doing mad libs when I was young and having so much fun with them. The fun still continues even as an adult but it's so much better when you have your kids laughing with you. Your children get to have fun while using their language skills!

I love adventure time and so do my kids. They love writing stories so I'm sure they'll enjoy this mad libs.

Bought for my joke-loving, Adventure Time-obsessed 7-year old daughter, Mad Libs may not be too well known in the UK, but well deserves to be.The premise is simple: There are pages of text/stories about/told by the characters from Adventure Time (although this would obviously vary on which Mad Libs book you had), with gaps in the text to be filled in. The Reader looks at the gaps and asks the Players for a word; the gaps have a pointer word, such as noun, verb, adjective, etc. (all explained at the beginning of the book if you've forgotten this sort of thing from school), which is used to fill the gap with a random word (such as "banana" for a "thing"). When all of the gaps have been filled, the whole passage is read out, leading to much hilarity, and not only from the children.This works best when you have a small group who can take turns reading out and writing down, whilst the others provide the words.It's very simple, it's very crazy and a whole lot of fun.

I got this for an 8yr old child she loves it, I do too! It is great fun and educational. Would highly recommend.
