Out of the box I’m loving this case. I purchased it to replace a Logitech keyboard which inadvertently ended up in being dunked in the bath. First off this case adds weight to the ipad, in my case I don’t care because I mostly sit with is on my lap and honestly it adds more stability with the ipad than the logitech case does. My family calls my ipad my new laptop as with this case it looks and feels almost like a laptop rather than a tablet. The color is wonderful and I can finally find my ipad when it’s put on my brown sofa. My keyboard was a little funky due to the language settings on my ipad which caused the function keys to not have the correct symbols, having updated those I am loving the backlit keys the stability and overall look and feel of this case. It is also cheaper than the Logitech case another plus.

I always wanted an apple lap top and this case has far exceeded my expectations. I now feel like I have an apple lap top. Love the Rose gold color, and this case replaced my Logitech which had far outlived its usefulness. I could care less if this case added a few ounces to the pad, it’s a small price to pay for such a beautiful case. I also love the cutout in the back that shows the apple logo. I have arrived in the apple family no longer a step child, but a proud cutout in the back of the case that displayed my legacy. LOL Before it arrived I received a email from the seller with detailed instructions how to sync the keyboard to the ipad. With a step by step sequential explanation on how to obtain connectivity. With the most important first step, to fully charge the key pad before attempting to sync. After charging the device there is a black button on the upper right side of the case that must be turned on, (On/off) even though you will see 4 green lights lit on the keyboard. Once you turn on that black button everything was seamless and connectivity was instant. To say the least I will have to say “I love this case” and can’t wait to use the backlit lights at night. Thank you for making such a beautiful well constructed case. I no longer have case envy for all those yuppies sitting in Panera Bread working on their laptops. Last but not least before I forget, let me tell you how beautiful the white sturdy box that the case arrived in packaged with sealed air to protect the case. Thank you VANKY for your thoughtfulness.

I will say it’s a study, protective shell. It definitely turns an iPad Pro into a laptop, with the added weight and bulk, as if I now owned a Macbook with a touch screen. It’s relatively easy to extract the device from the housing, unlike other configurations. Easily paired with Bluetooth. The keyboard is not terribly sensitive; several keys need to be pressed harder than others. I have not been able to get the backlighted keyboard feature to work. The instruction booklet, by the way, is crazy hard to read.

The case is perfect and the tablet fits perfectly. There are several problems that need to be corrected to make this a perfect keyboard. The first being the power plug did not fit into the hole. This would render the keyboard useless but in our case we had a tool to correct the problem. The manual is very poorly written and the instructions are wrong. Have not been able to get my keyboard to light up but still trying to figure it out.

I purchased this in 2018 and it worked great! Only problem is the hinge wore out after slightly less than a year. So, it would not stay open or in position. The seller reached out to me and immediately sent a replacement. Here we are again after having the replacement for a year and I'm having the same problem again. The seller was GREAT to take care of the problem the first time, but only getting a year of service from a product is very disappointing.

I got this for school. This case works perfectly, WITH THE EXCEPTION of it sitting up. It will NOT sit at 90 degrees and it is SO annoying and useless. Either I got a defective case or they never actually put an iPad in the case and tried to sit it up. I have to put something quite heavy behind the iPad to prop it up. Otherwise, the keyboard works great and hold a charge for quite a while. It will asl charge your iPad or phone with the USB port which is clutch. It not sitting up makes me want to give 1 star but the fact that everything else works perfectly makes me think I got a defective case or something. I’m not sure. I might try to contact the seller to get their opinion and get replaced possibly?

I’ve had this for only 4 months and it won’t stay open by itself. The hinges or whatever are broken. This is my second one I have purchased and they both had the same issue. Otherwise I really like the case but feel like I have wasted $200. My return window is apparently closed. Not happy!Update 5/23/19. The company reached out to me a few days ago and sent me a new keyboard (although not the original color i wanted or ordered), however I am extremely happy I didn’t have to pay for a new one. So far i am extremely happy with their customer service and right now the keyboard is working great. I will update again in a few months to let everyone know if i am having the same issues as before.

Have had this keyboard/case for less than a week, but was asked to let you know what I think of it. So far it is fine. But again it would have been great if the booklet (instructions) would have been printed with larger print. But the case/keyboard is great. I am having a bit of trouble getting the typed letters to show up. But think it has to do with the fact that it is new and I have to get use to it. (User error.)
