I purchased this basket as an accessory after I purchased the pot itself. I have found that it is very handy for getting the small pieces cooked and separated in my small Hot Pot.First I made asparagus and stood them on their ends and they cooked perfectly. Next was hard boiled eggs, Perfect. Next I tried herbs for some stock and it came out great. Hot loose tea was easy too. Now I have tried chicken skin and pork skin for gelatin for soups and stews and it works great. Mulled wine and cider is easy too. I can even put this little basket in my 10qt pressure cooker as long as I put it on a rack.

We were very impressed with this Steamer basket for our 6qt Instant Pot. I found the steamer basket to be a great size, easy to clean and easy to cook with. I am now able to quickly steam my veggies, or cook my sweet potatoes without any issues of them sitting in the water and getting mushy. I have found that with the mesh basket, that the food gets steamed evenly. I would definitely purchase this item again.

This is a great accessory for use with a pressure cooker. It is very simple and easy to use especially when cooking meat. Simply place the marinated meat in the basket, place the basket in a pressure cooker and add few cups of water. Cook for about 15 minutes. The use of this basket is also an easy way to drain & separate all the fat content. I tried making Chile Rojo steak (marinated available from supermarkets) and it turned out to be awesome!It comes in very handy for people who want to spend less time with cooking.

I have to say the only thing that I did not like was trying to clean it. The basket is very Versible.
