There's a lot I like about this eye cream. First of all the consistency and texture is wonderful! It is light, but very hydrating. I love how it sits under makeup. I don't wear concealer often, but I might start because this makes it apply so much better and helps prevent creasing. It also does a nice job plumping up fine lines under the eyes. Finally, it is fragrance free. I don't really mind scented skincare, but I don't want that around my eyes lol.There are a few things that I don't love and why this will not replace my HG. I was hoping that it would be more illuminating. My dark circles are largely shadows, so I need the 'sparkly' type eye cream. I was hoping this would be that type because 'diamond powder' is listed as a key ingredient, but I don't really notice any illumination. It also contains alcohol. Another product from this company that I used contained this and, although I don't mind this ingredient in some products I'm not sure why it would be in an eye cream. At least it is low on the list. Finally, I don't care for this type of applicator, which isn't a big deal but I figured I would mention it.Overall, this is a solid eye cream that works very well in the AM and great with concealer. For the price though, I will be sticking with my current one. Four stars though for the nice consistency and hydrating properties.

I don't think I've ever left a five star review for any eye cream before! While I haven't been using this long enough to see lightening of dark circles (nor do I think I will actually see that, as I believe my under eye circles are hereditary), but I do believe that I am seeing tightening of skin when I use this! My lids are heavy, almost hooded, and they have been the bane of my adult life. Most eye creams are only designed for under eye use, but this one is light and slick enough to apply sparingly to my eye lids, and it has given them a little boost in appearance. There are a lot of things to like about this Alpha-H Liquid Gold Firming Eye Cream. For starters, the packaging is brilliant, with a built in plug in the cap to prevent the product from drying out. The cream itself is on the thinner side, and has plenty of slip, so it is easily absorbed and is easy to lightly pat in around the eye area. There's no need to drag the cream or the tip against your skin, as the slip in the product prevents that from happening. No drag means no extra damage to your eye area. I love that I can use this on and around my eyelids to help with the crepey skin and saggy skin there. I swear it is already helping with that. Additionally, I have been plagued with milia around my eyes, and while it won't be an instant thing, the exfoliators in this eye cream are designed to help with milia. All of this is great, but none of it means anything if it irritates my skin, so here is the good news: my sensitive eyes and skin around my eyes have had zero issues with this eye cream. It's a little on the speedy side (hey, eye creams are expensive!), but if I continue to see the improvements I have been seeing over just a few days, I dare say the cost would be worth it!

Lovely smooth and silky texture that glides easily on my skin. The squeeze tube is comfortable to use and the tip has a slightly cooling effect. No irritation on my sensitive eczema prone skin. I think the eye cream does a nice job in hydration especially on dry skin and leaves my tired eyes slightly brighter but not a whole lot. The price is a tad higher considering i didn’t see any noticeable difference right away.

I’ve been using murads eye cream that has retinol in it and I’m seeing excellent results.I got this eye cream as a back up. I like how hydrating it is. The hydration blurs tiny lines and makes the eyes look firmer. I did notice I’m not seeing any diamond powder. At all! Not even a tiny bit!My Murad eye cream has gold powder in it that you can definitely see. I see nothing here. That’s a little disappointing because I like sparkly stuff lol.At the end of the day I can honestly say I like this eye gel but after I run out I won’t be buying it again. Not sure it works well enough to justify spending $82. I know nothing about the brand to know if it’s really worth that much or if they decided to make up their own price 🤷🏾‍♀️
