Very easy to install. I just installed a new after market touch screen radio in my 2009 Scion XB. I thought I was going to have to spend another $70.00 for a very complicated steering wheel adapter/module. I installed the Red Wolf harness adapter instead and it was easy, quick and worked. Sent the other adapter back.

I added this to a 2006 Scion tC, when I upgraded the head unit. It plugs into the factory harness but requires connection to the SW1, SW2 and ground cables. These can be found in the head units harness or coming from a 3.5mm cable if your head unit is configured this way (will require you to cut open and find the red, white and blk leads. Match to the image provided here and attach using your favorite method. Enjoy! Hope I helped someone.

Works beautifully a 2006 Scion TC. The default wiring doesn't work out of the box, but since my head unit (BOSS BE7ACP.WX) has a SWC learning functionality, and I was able to reprogram the button mapping.

The only button that does not work ins the Mode. Volume and advance buttons work.

If you have the 20 pin for steering wheel buttons, and don't know how to connect it to your new aftermarket radio just connect the two positives and ground it to the stereo ground. Works!
