Gorgeous installed. If you are looking for a LOT of wind from the fan this may not work for you, but it's for above a kitchen table while playing games or whatever and finishes off my kitchen nicely as well as providing just the right amount of air circulation. It would be nice if it had some down facing lighting, but is very elegant. The remote controls both the fan speed as well as dims the lights. Love it.

I just got done installing this and you need the remote for it to work. Oh and the “special “ 12 v battery is not included! Why not? It looks like a AAA but slightly smaller. I can get a remote from Home Depot for fan and the battery is common. . I’ll update after I am able to work the light. You would think for this dollar amount the one little battery would be included.I hope this is not telling of things to come with this fixture.

The Light is beautiful. Yes, it's dim so if you need plenty of light, this isn't the one for you. I wanted a dim light fixture as this was installed by our fireplace. The fan is quiet. The unit runs via the remote, which was the most challenging part of the install (we did it ourselves). It makes our living room look beautiful!

Good quality but poor light - even with upgraded bulbs it does not light up the room. Otherwise everything is as advertised, interesting piece, great fan.

I love the look of this beautiful light! But it doesn't give us enough light to even see what we're eating. I had to take it down and buy another light, sadly!

Very pretty and fan is effective. Unfortunately, it does not give off much light because of the translucent glass.

Looks great, works great! It is expensive but very nice.
