These coasters are solid and have a great quality feel to them. They come just as pretty as they are pictured.They are awful as coasters. They stick to the bottom of the glass and fall off in my guest's food quite often. I will only use them as decor from now on or with non-sweating drinkware.

While these were very cute and matched our decor they were totally impractical. They don’t absorb any condensation and the moisture from drinks just slides right off of them onto the surface you are trying to protect. They are totally useless and serve no other purpose than being decorative. I received these yesterday and am already searching for new coasters that will actually protect my solid wood coffee table. If you just want them to look cute go for it. If you need actual coasters for practical use then pass.

I bought these for a friend who loves giraffes. They are very nice. Nice gift. They are not very heavy or thick but a nice touch and work fine.
