We've had TWO mobility compromised medical dogs far outlive their anticipated lifespans thanks in part to the use of this superior Glucosamine. Picky had very invasive TPLO surgeries on both back legs at 4 and 5 years old, an instant set up for early onset arthritis yet she was still running like the wind at 19.25 yrs old! And, while we would advised Ms Sadie was paralyzed and would need to be euthanized 8 years ago, the vets have long called her the "miracle dog" as she regained some use of her back legs, relearned to walk AND even run, had a wonderful and active life until passing from unrelated illness at 15 yr old. I have observed in 4 different surgeries to scrape and clean out fermented rotten rawhide from 4 different dogs' stomachs and twice noted small objects that resembled stones or pebbles that the surgeons explained were likely hard Glucosamine tablets given to the dogs and never fully digested. As it's well known that dogs do NOT have the best digestive systems, we prefer this powdered Glucosamine in a gel cap as it is instantly assimilated the minute it enters the dogs stomach which is far better for the dog AND much more effective as a treatment. Not to mention that it is much easier on the budget compared to other options. I started taking this because my blood pressure was getting bad. It's never been great though. Most of my late 20's and early 30's my BP would be under 140/90 but above 130/80. This last year my BP took a crazy jump and went to 180/118 at my worst. I added this to my daily supplements and my blood pressure (with help of adding BP meds) went down to 131/78. I'v been tracking my BP A LOT since June when I got the scary results. For most of June through October my BP remained VERY high and I was getting pressure headaches. I started BP meds in early Sept but also started CoQ10 in mid Oct. My BP stayed high but dropped significantly in late Oct. It could be the BP meds or the CoQ10 or both. All I know is my BP is now in a "safe" range. I spent half the summer thinking I was going to stroke out knowing my BP was as high as it was. I work IT so I'm mostly sedentary.

This is the best I've taken. And I've taken glucosamine for a long time due to knee issues. Glad to get it here. It's a little pricey compared to some others, but worth it, I actually feel a difference with this brand.
