Solid construction
In regards to the product frame and drawers along with woodwork fit and finish it is an A+. Delivery was in 4 boxes that were more manageable than I anticipated for two people to get upstairs. Very IKEA like to assemble and had no problem with the directions. Realistically 90 minute assembly process with two people. Went mainly from 5 stars down to four stars because one of the built in the frame factory nut connections fell out when I opened the box and had to go to local hardware store to find something to secure it back into place. Just a pain but not the end of the world. The Couch itself is comfortable and the mattress material is of good quality. We are using it in a vacation rental to serve the purpose of mainly a couch in a large bedroom with the ability to become an extra bed in a pinch and believe it will fit the bill nicely. Because it is a futon with just one continuous leather like mattress pad you can see the matieral crease up a bit when folded 90 degrees when used as a couch. If it is going to be turned into a futon regularly you would have to move it away from the wall as when you lay it flare it needs an extra 6 inches to slide down and out flat. The bottom line is it is the best looking couch/futon we were able to find and would buy it again because of the quality and versatility.

Great quality but directions a little lacking
The materials used are very good quality and this futon looks great once assembled. Each box has the hardware/accessories box tied to the box by string so it won't fall out during shipping. The 4 boxes are decent sizes and weight for two people to handle with ease. You are going to need a bit of room for assembly. The directions are very picture centric with very little written instruction. Everything is color coded which made matching ends and pieces together very simple. You will definitely need two people to get the base secured into the frame. The mattress is very heavy and looks like it will be very durable. It feels like there are even small springs inside to give it some bounce. It's a pretty firm cushion so some may want to get a topper if they like softer padding. There is a zipper around the edge of the mattress and you can see the padding if you open it. I only know this because when we opened the mattress I saw that the zipper was not closed for the last foot at the corner and the material was sticking out. The zipper pull was missing and part of the fabric material was caught in the zipper. So I just had to use pliers to get everything situated correctly. The drawers are not attached to the bed at all. They are just stand alone pieces with wheels but they fit under the bed perfectly.I would recommend that you do not put the wooden bolt cover pieces in place until after you are finished joining the bed base with the frame. Unfortunately we jumped the gun on the bolt covers and then couldn't get them back out without damaging them so I ended up having to pry one side open in order to get enough slack to get the last rubber piece into place. It would have probably been much easier to be able to loosen the bolts on one rear side of the arms in order to get the bed base into place. Otherwise it's very challenging.

Very sturdy and comfortable
We love the futon but had an issue with how Amazon picked the 4 boxes for our futon. Two boxes contained espresso colored wood but the 3 box, the arms, were butternut colored. All we wanted was for them to go to whichever warehouse it was picked from and send us the correct arms and we would return the wrong ones. We were told they would have to ship us a whole new futon that weighs 200 pounds. Everything worked out in the end but just shipping the correct arms would have been cheaper and easier

Exceptional build quality, fit, and finish! Very comfortable and versatile!
Let me start by stating that I don’t normally write reviews unless the product is exceptionally bad or good. In this case the product, a futon, not generally thought of as a quality piece of furniture has far exceeded my expectations. It arrived in four separate boxes which were all manageable for one relatively healthy person. Each was well packed preventing damage to the exceptionally well finished wood parts. Each package was clearly labeled identifying what parts were inside and their finished color. The hardware was meticulously packaged and even tied by a string, then boxed and taped inside the larger package to ensure that it all arrived, and all of it was treated or coated to prevent corrosion and noisy operation. Each box also included well written and detailed instructions which provided both numerical and color coded parts not only to identify the pieces, but also to designate how they were to be oriented when laying them out, (e.g. this side up, orange, yellow, blue, or red dot to the rear, etc.)The item was easy to assemble with one person until the very end when two are preferred to attach the large folding half’s. The recline/lounge setting is a nice detail/feature, and the while drawer kit doesn’t actually attach to the base in any way, the rollers and bumpers guide the drawers in and out smoothly even over uneven floor in my camper. The mattress is surprisingly comfortable, well constructed, apparently reversible, and made from a thick/sturdy faux leather material. This is easily the nicest and most comfortable futon I have ever seen! And for a very reasonable price!

Nice looking, but not sturdy.
Well, this package was a bit of a headache in terms of getting here, but that's not the products fault. It was easy to put together, but my husband is use to putting together a variety of way more difficult things because of his work. The couch/futon is comfy and nice looking. Our main complaint is that the thing is falling apart. Everyday we find a new screw or washer on the floor. It's not from misuse or not being put together correctly. We don't let the kids on it, there's no flopping, and as I stated my husband puts together complicated equipment for work, so it's not that it wasn't put together correctly. I wish that it was sturdier, especially given the price point for it.
