After years of vaping in “cloud mode,” something cultural fascinated me about organic e liquids that are naturally extracted, in particular the world of naturally extracted tobacco. Long story short, I have suddenly, with no dislike to how I used to vape for 4 years, become an all day Mtl vaper, without noticing that it has been every day since June! This is solely due to the nature of naturally extracted tobacco liquids, which are incredibly different from each other in terms of profiles it’s a vast rich flavourful world that I am discovering, however these are such nuanced experiences that above 18 watts they become muted, so NOW I get mtl, the fancy rtas, and even the ones I already owned without realising that I was grossly limiting to those “bathroom breaks” at work. Nah, satisfaction and it’s management will always be the key, this wire believe it or not is already considered in many situations to overheat and mute small chambers ect. or at least that would be the concern, but in my case it has only brought out new layers especially with Kentucky and Latakia.

First off, you'll need a 27-40V DC transformer to get to the proper temperature to cut foam. I got a great one on Amazon for $39 that had variable voltage, couple leads and PVC handles to eyelets. No need for the $800 hot wire tools. But I was cutting GeoFoam for construction - basically dense foam blocks 48"x48"x96" - so yes, large and heavy. This 26G broke a lot if pulling too fast - so definitely go to the 20G if cutting a lot of big block. But the product is fantastic and saved a lot of cost. Good luck.

Used this to make a thermal foam cutter. Just attached to screws in a "U" shaped piece of wood, then clamped on 12v battery charger.

This wire is being used on a DIY hand held foam cutter. It's the perfect gauge for this application, with a little experimentation of current applied. Model airplanes application.
