Vytex 100% Natural Latex Topper Collection The Only Virtually Allergy Free Latex - Soft - (King 2 Inch)

So I ordered this 1.5" Soft Latex Topper for the top layer of my DIY Mattress for my adjustable bed and it is perfect as the very top layer. It has just the right amount of give and support since I am 195lbs and the 2" latex layer under this is a medium Vytex also ordered on Amazon.In case anyone is interested on the process used to make these toppers, it is made using a patented technology from Vytex which removes almost all the impurities and allergy causing proteins and allows the final Natural Rubber Latex (no synthetic rubber added) to be a more pure and resilient than traditionally processed natural dunlop style latex.Also they use the latest continuous pour technology which produces a more consistent latex than traditional dunlop style layer. Where a traditional dunlop core usually is harder on the bottom since the particles settled as it was being heated this new technology called continuous pour or Continuous Latex Processing uses newer heating methods which prevent that from happening producing a lighter fluffier and more even softness closer to the feel of Talalay latex. In my opinion it feels somewhere in the middle of the two methods in softness, which I prefer now that I've felt it.This also should theoretically aid in the latex topper lasting longer since it is made of a more pure natural rubber with I believe as much as 40% less impurities because of the Vytex processing technology used in the manufacturing.Anyway, I learned a lot by researching Vytex Latex online. I have no affiliation with this or any other company producing or selling Latex and I haven't received any promotional latex toppers to write this or any other review.I highly recommend this brand of latex toppers!So far I've purchased a firm, a medium and a soft for my DIY mattress and all are great in quality and feel.

My wife and I upgraded our king bed to a split-king with adjustable bases. We used the Vytex 100% Natural Latex Topper to add an additional layer of softness to our Natural Latex mattresses. It is the perfect combination of support and softness for us. As someone that had previously only used memory foam toppers I can say without a doubt that latex is just as soft, just as supportive, but it is 100x cooler than standard memory or gel memory foam. I have only had this topper a couple of months but it springs back immediately whenever you get out of bed. Memory foam has a sort of lag that sometimes never rebounds back fully and leaves indents where you slept. This latex topper doesn't show any signs of that whatsoever. It's the perfect mattress topper and is the perfect compliment to a latex mattress.

I was naturally wary of purchasing a product with only one review - positive. After researching a bit, I chose natural Dunlop processed latex for its hypoallergenic properties, lack of chemicals and because it would not conform to my body as is the function of memory foam. Also, I had also read that for joint issues a firm mattress with a soft latex top was the suggested solution.The product arrived early and appears to be of good quality, though a couple inches width/length larger than my queen mattress (which is no problem) with no chemical smell whatsoever. I used it for the first time and noticed an appreciable level of comfort and experienced only a slight increase in the heat mentioned in memory foam reviews (but then it is winter). For me soft was definitely the way to go - medium would have been too firm.The only real negative I found was in the packaging. It was bursting from its box, tape split and only held together by 4 straps. Also, there was not the usual product information or invoice copy usually found with Amazon shipments.Bottom line: My firm mattress is much more comfortable and has fulfilled my expectations... which is a good thing for given its bulk, weight and size it would be an absolute bear to return.

It is even slightly thicker than advertised and nice and dense, little to no odor. I had ordered the same size (supposedly) from another company & it was anemic looking in comparison. I plan to order another Vytex soon as I do wish I would have ordered up a little thicker to meet my needs for cushioning but was not sure if the next size would be too thick for my bed. This has nothing to do with their product, however, as it is more my trying to figure out my needs for additional cushioning for my bed. I ordered the 1.5" to start, which does measure closer to 2" after it airs out. I think since the Vytex is so plush, I may just need another inch to be just right. Overall, I have tried a couple of different companies and this is one of the best products to date in my experience - very plush but also plenty of density for bounce as advertised.

This latex topper came shipped securely, had very little odor which disappeared within one day and offers support more than softness. I was looking for more of a pillow top experience but this may be better in terms of holding up longer. It has made the mattress surface more giving. I agree with other reviewers that the experience is more of floating on it rather than sinking in. It did not add any significant heat while sleeping and the cat seems to really enjoy it. I will be adding a mattress cover to encase both my mattress and the topper so that the topper won’t shift and to camouflage the topper as it can be seen through my white sheets.

It has relieved the hip pain when sleeping on my side.

This is a really nice mattress topper that has made the firm mattress I have a lot more comfortable. I really like it a lot. The only minor complaint I have is that I wish there was a way to anchor the topper to the mattress as it sometimes tends to slip out of position.

We cut it in half put a strip on each of two couches- fit perfectly and greatly improved comfort of each of our patio couches ( yes it's tucked in where foam doesn't show) - no chemical odors or anything very pleased would not hesitate to get one for the bed if I felt we needed it

I purchased this Vytex 100% Natural Latex Topper, 2 inch, from Amazon and it arrived a week ago. I have been airing it outdoors ever since and it still smells very strongly of latex. I can smell it from 3 feet away. Close up it is overpowering and I cannot sleep on it because it bothers my sinuses and asthma. So much for it being allergy free. I went to the Vytex website to contact them but there is no phone number and the contact link does not work. I decided to return it only to be told by Vytex that I have to pay for the return shipping. I would never have ordered it had I realized that the free shipping does not include free returns. This topper felt comfy. However, with each night I had a worse night tossing and turning, and my whole body had deep body aches. Each morning I had worse and worse brain fog and feeling unwell than the previous day. After 5 nights, the 6th morning I could barely function. I had no such issues prior to using this topper and the symptoms disappeared as soon as I removed the topper. The symptoms I had really surprised me as I have used Talalay latex pillows since 2001, which is why I chose a latex topper.We had packed up the topper and were deciding the best way to dispose of it when my elderly mum had to come stay with us for 2 weeks. We put the topper on a bed for her to make it more comfy for her back. As she has no known allergy to latex, I assumed she would be ok with it. Big mistake! I kick myself now because it took me 8 days to realize why she was waking each morning with worsening brain fog. By mid afternoon she would perk up. Once I removed the topper she was greatly improved.The one star is for our experience with the product. I give 5 STARS for the customer service when contacting them regarding a return/refund. Resolved to my satisfaction 100% and immediately.

LOVE this product. I bought a 1.5 inch soft topper for my daughter's twin bed because she has a dust mite allergy and latex is a deterrent for dust mites. I also needed the latex to be allergen-free to be sure no latex allergies might develop for her. Before she started using the topper, I decided to test it out, as I find my memory foam topped mattress too hot at times. The Vytex topper was cooler, which I loved, and it was both soft and supportive at exactly the same time. It made my sleep so much better, I neglected to return the topper back to my daughter until I got my own!! We swiftly ordered a topper for our bed and my other child's bed, who doesn't have allergies, but sleeps a little hot. I'm really happy with all of these purchases. I've even ordered another topper for our pull-out couch for guests and a pillow for my daughter (the one who has allergies) as well.I noticed a faint latex smell the first time I unwrapped it, but I also slept on it the first night after it was unwrapped and didn't notice any smell on that night or any nights after that.Really great topper.

Best thing I ever bought for my bed. A million times better than the horrible $90 ones you get from Sears or something. WELL worth the price considering you get a natural product, breathability, extreme comfort, and feeling like you don't want to get out of bed. Call the manufacturer (or provider) to get any advice on sizing.

This 1" latex topper works really well to make my mattress much more comfortable. I've only been sleeping on it for a couple of weeks but so far it's perfect. I definitely recommend it.
