TreesAgain Lot of 3 Black Locust Trees - Robinia pseudoacacia - Starter Plugs (See State Restrictions)

Having appropriate expectations for these "trees" is fundamental; they are starter plugs. IMHO, should not just be stuck in the ground and one-star bashed for not thriving - do your research on how to re-acclimate plants that were in a box for days prior to delivery. 5 stars for the health of the plugs (keeping in mind they were also shipped during 90 degree heat!) - great job of packaging considering the roots were still damp. All are potted now being kept mostly in the shade/indirect light - majority show no sign of shock - most look great, thank you!

When I received them they were frail looking. I thought that when I potted them and kept them in watered and shaded location to get acclimated that they would perk up. Instead they continued to wilt and all three died. Beware the card they place in the shipping box states... Notify us on the day you receive the shipment if there is a problem. No guarantee that plants will survive. Lesson learned. No I don't recommend this product.

I was concerned when I opened the box, but all 3 are filling out nicely. They probably double in size with 5 weeks, but they were not big when they came. They are healthy, and thriving, so I happy.

Only one of the seedlings arrived alive and it is growing. Good Luck with yours

Great little trees came looking very healthy still doing just fine

They are potted, waiting to be planted, one is gone, 2 doing poorly. Will see. Now they are as big as they arrived!

I received "trees" that were about 1-2 inches tall. They were so fragile that all the stems were bent and damaged when I received them. I potted immediately but all died within 2 days.

Healthy 6-inch seedlings. All are still alive.
