Excellent product and excellent backup
This is an excellent product and the Wi-Fi speeds that I’m getting from it are ridiculously good. I Am fortunate to have a 1Gb Internet connection and this device is generally allowing me wireless speeds of up to 850 Mb per second. Any problems and the Devolo technical support team (you get straight through to a real person!!) Are available at the end of the phone. I have had a few questions and they have answered them fully and patiently and pointed me in the right direction. Excellent product and excellent backup

Great bit of kit
We have struggled to get good WiFi all over the house and this unit has been brilliant and reliable. I have just bought a forth unit for my garden shed.Everyone is happy in my house. Now they are all distracted by their working gadgets.

Great results and good, knowledgeable telephone support
Like the high speed wifi, ethernet anywhere, and the technical support. The phone support has proved essential with both Wifi around the premises and three ethernet connections for TV and two computers.

Easy to add to an existing setup
Bought this to expand my existing setup. The instructions are good and it was easy to connect to the existing setup, within a few minutes of plugging it in my network was expanded and I have WiFi coverage where a previous system failed to cover. I would recommend this if you have a Magic 2 setup and need a bit more coverage

No faster than 41Mbps
Bought to upgrade my old 500Mbps system. Wish I hadn't they are certainly not Magic as they have not improved the speed at all. Think carefully before buying. They are expensive and I was expecting great things but am left disappointed. Shame really as I like the devolo products

Read all instructions carefully and watch YouTube video
Installation not as easy as expected from information provided BUT with perseverance after downloading more detailed instructions and watching YouTube video managed to get working.Well worth the effort as mesh coverage is great..

Powerline AND WiFi unreliable, Powerline under-performs
I’ve been investing more and more in Devolo Powerline over the last 20 years. Devolo made some great adaptors to start with which really inspired me until now. They were rock solid. Always connected, reliable, performed perhaps well below (half) their stated bandwidth, but they just worked and saved so many cables and WiFi issues. So I bought in to the WiFi option too. That never worked though… DLan 500 WiFi, connected when it felt like it, major delays when changing (I presume) from one WiFi source to another, seemingly unconnected at times despite a good 5 bar WiFi picture, etc etc, so I turned off the WiFi and used them as a simple powerline device. Some years on, I figured the latest version (Magic2) might now be better…. Wrong!Same issues. Does give you a WiFi connection to the adaptor itself, but good luck getting consistent internet or home network connection through it. Equally, it seems the powerline side of it has gone downhill too - I got a connection of 240 Bit/s (one tenth the 2.4GBit/s quoted speeds) even after troubleshooting with Devolo (which changed nothing at all).So take my advice - you may as well stick with an old dLan 200 or 500 series and forget the Mesh WiFi feature all together.I do need faster networking (for my new security cameras), so I am now thinking of drilling holes in walls for cables all over the house.I am tempted to wonder if TPLink or others are better, or to try a dedicated Mesh WiFi Solution, but I suspect they are all the same.At least Amazon look after us with returns when the marketing hype is so far from reality! I have still wasted a week of my life testing all this though and trying to make it work. For >£200 for three networking hubs (I added an extra WiFi) I had hoped for a much better experience.I would have settled for a reliable 400kBit/s powerline connection, esp. if the Mesh WiFi worked!

Very fast wifi out of the box
Getting 80-100mbs across my home mains grid - pretty solid and way better than older technologies
